Ok three things.
1. I would like to join and below I will post a sheet for the god I want my character to worship

2. Daemonbane. you may not have intended it this way. I'm not trying to start something I am mearly taking notice, And maybe it's just me but that last post of yours came off an incredibly dickish.

3. The god I wish to worship.

Religion Name: Church of Beltine
Chief Deity: Beltine, The healing matron, The grey Crone
Religion Description: Beltine is an odd goddess to say the least. Her worshippers are adored by all sides during any conflict. They rigidly remain neutral and it is even rumored that if you are foolish enough to attack one of their clerics and become injured in the scuffle. They must stop in order to help heal your wounds. This is partly true and partly false as many of the foolish thieves and rapists attempt to take advantage of this rumour and quickly find themselves on their backs, blacked out with a concussion and a splitting headache like continents colliding.

The Grey crone teaches her flock to heal and offer protection/ Asylum to those who need it. Regardless of that person's history, Position, or affiliation with any particular group both righteous and heanious. The Servants of Beltine are sworn to perform their duties without pause or hesitation. They also are not allowed to take sides. They can have personal ideals, Follow a particular army, Serve in a particular location but they are loyal to the church of Beltine and their duties above all. And more than one king has relied on a Cleric of the Crone to heal a tortured prisoner or became frustrated when someone he wanted slain begged for Asylum and protection from the church.

It is ahrd to take action against a Faith that you know could save hundreds if not thousands of your people during a war or famine or plague. And generally most kingdoms and nations agree that a servant of Beltine is not to be bothered by any side during a conflict. They are allowed to come and go as they please without harassment. To either accuse them of smuggling messages or to try and force them to provide tactical information would simply force them to withdraw from the field altogether to avoid any further bloodshd or conflict and potential kill hundreds more.

Surprisingly msot people who encounter a travelling servant of Beltine and expect warm smiles and bedside manner are rebuffed with short and quick responses. Straight foward questioning and and overall a seemingly unattached if not a little cold personality depending on the person. Which is developed in part because of the neutrality they must maintain, along with the fact that most Beltine worshippers will see some scores if not hundreds or thousands of wounded in their lifetime. For better or for worse they eventually learn to tune out any emotions involved with the process. To many people have died and to many undeserving have tried to take advantage and leech off the Church's open hospitality.

This may also be because it is Beltine who oversees the those lost souls who are either judged to be unworthy for the paradise of the gods or those who have simply no where to go. But who may be fit for potential redemption and rebirth into the world. Those Who have either sinned to much to be even considered for judgement or have chosen to revoke all religion and the gods and now pay the price for their heresy.

It is said one of the key features in Beltine's realm is her Personal Apothocary. Her place where she looks at all the deseases that infest this world and it's people and works on them herself. Testing magic and divine will. Sometimes these cures are then whispered into the minds of her followers. This in the past has brought a second wind into entire kingdoms being ravaged by unknown plague or has halted these plagues before they ever had a chance to grow and devastate the world. Of course the Followers of Beltine know to pursue these cures themselves. They cannot always rely on the Crone to solve their problems and indeed for every plague or sickness that it is suspected she had helped cure there were ten or more that she left to her orders to follow.

In this Apothecarion are many things. But the most intimidating and impressive is the massive cauldron that contains a myriad of deseases and plagues both cured and created by herself. Along with the countless creaming and wayward souls who are used as test subjects for her experiments. They suffer, Are cured, and are infected again. And because they are mearly souls they are incapable of dying or drowning in this viscous fluid. But the truly damned are those who must endure all these hardship and are not fortunate to float along the surface of the cauldron and instead are weighed down by the sins and crimes they committed in life. They live in the depths of the cauldron. The more one sinned the deeper one must stay. An eternal hell of the worst kind.

But Beltine is also the goddess of mercy as well as healing. For every Desease these souls bear, For every year they spend in the boiling mass that is the cauldrons hellish soup. They cna burn away these sins. Earn retribution, float a little higher and maybe just maybe. Beltine can consider them as served their penance. For every now and again she dips here ladle into the cauldron and pulled out those she has deemed worthy of reincarnation. Those who may be worthy of a second chance.
woah. I think we might want to wait for some of these other guys to get their posts in. Like actraiser and them.

Personally I don't want this rp to leave me behind just because it takes me a day to make a post.
If I was DM it would definatly become a witchhunt RP. And most people don't seem to be in to that.
I really feel like a witch hunter. but I guess everyone figured that out already. I'm just going to think through a few archtype and such. Maybe a Bretonnian noble who lost his family's lands and name to the shame of the taint? Would that be allowed? Maybe even make it a her, Just to change things up a bit.
Well I think the last few posts by Dorkblade were about us not being able to pick high elves or wood elves. So I guess that limits your options.
But first they have to have a damn good reason to take that oath. And they don't give such oaths to those outside their race lightly. And while ya they do have their district in the capitol. Most cities don't have a 'dwarven district' as much as they just have a few dwarves who realized 'hey, I can make good money in human lands because their craftsmanship sucks' Most dwarves still look down on humans as beneath them and unable to understand or comprehend anything of real importance like oaths and basic dwarven technology so they don't even bother trying.

ya you get some dwarves who aren't pricks. And there definatly is a decent amount of them. But most are just as elitist as the elves really.
Ya the elves in this game are real pricks. The high elves think that the humans are to stupid to fight chaos. And the wood elves don't care. And the dwarves will let everybody burn in the end if it means their holds get to stay standing.
I don't know I like the horror/mystery/intrigue/action/investigation combo that the witch hunter roleplay promises.
We could do the wtich hunter thing. Stumbling upon a particular cult and following down the rabbit hole the uncover that this cult is impossibly, frighteningly powerful and deep in the empire. Go all over the Empire form capitol to small villages and hidden cult shrines and altars in deep caves and forests. The only downside I can think of would be the limited race palate. Humans, Maybe high elves or dwarves would care the most about the potential of the growing number of human cults. wood elves as rare, They wouldn't really give two shits about anyone or anything outside their forests.

But if we want to diversify and allow a greater option of races to play and enemies to fight, a Mercenary company is always an option. We don't have to be just in Kilsev though we can certainly be paid to go there for a while. But we can also travel and build a name for ourselves.
I don't know. Personally I think I want a good witch hunter roleplay. that mood may change in time but for now.

Last minute thought. We can be a troop of high elves scouting out a possible Druuchii Military invasion force or something. I don't know that idea needs refinement and is pretty half baked. I just thought it had potential.
Yes..... Hell yes.
