Napoli Fiordilatte - Making a Splash

Always ready with a wry remark, Napoli was a little disappointed at Gren's sudden arrival. More of his brilliance confined to his labyrinthine mind, never to be seen again. Still, Napoli kept his grin up throughout Gren's introduction, it seemed Sapphire was the exception when it came to proper introductions. The business card was an interesting touch, though it lacked a bit of subtle colouring, the tasteful thickness a great business card would have. Perhaps Silian Grail would work.

Regardless, Napoli's graciously took the proffered goods. "Pleasure to meet you Signor Orchid, don't worry too much about your teammate, I've dealt with worse." No sooner had Napoli responded, did two more arrivals swoop in. Robert, who he'd met briefly earlier, and Oswald who seemed to constantly hang around Signorina Sapphire.

Young romance perchance? Well best of luck to him, it was going to be a bumpy Rode.

I really need to find more opportunities to voice these golden puns.

Of course no sooner did the others arrive, did the topic change and Oswald brought up mention of Sapphire's daggers falling somewhere around here. It didn't take a genius to piece together the rest, obviously Shiro was doing the natural thing and providing assistance to help a teammate in need.

Looks like my first impression was on point, he really is a pretty stellar guy. Unlike many others, he really was a purr-fect bro.

Shit.

I really need to stop doing that.

"Well," Napoli turned to the others, grin still adorning his face. "Pleasure seeing you two again, Robert, Oswald," Napoli began as his vest and rapier came off. His sword breaker on the other hand was tightened around his back, he never knew when he might need it. After all, he'd seen the dangers in the water once already today.

"I'm looking forward to actually exchanging a more proper greeting, but in honor of the moniker bestowed upon me by our feline friend: The member of Swansong who just took a swan dive, it's time for some Water Napolo."

And with that, Napoli leaned back and allowed himself to fall off the cliff.

Probably should've asked what we were doing, but I'm sure Shiro can fill me in.

"Geronimo!"
Dante Giordano

There was something to be said about Dante Giordano. A man who, despite all his experience traveling, always managed to get lost wherever he went. It truly must have been some sort of skill, a boon granted by the heavens, that enabled Dante to constantly end up in thoroughly disorientated. He lived in an era of smartphones after all, one would think he could find his way through the miracle of GPS. Yet somehow, without fail, Dante found a way to mess even that up. Was he really expected to remember Hybrid Academy, Academy City not Hybrid, Academy City?

Regardless the fact of the matter was simple.

He was lost.

Completely and utterly...

Lost.

Fantastic.

Fanfreakingtastic.

It was bad enough to simply be lost, but it was even worse when said disorientation leads one to tardiness on their first day of school. After all, Dante had been greatly looking forward to the opportunity to learn more about the nature of magic. Academy City had always been a city of dreams to the young lad, and now that he was finally here the first thing he went and did was get himself completely lost.

Quite the genius eh?

Regardless, Academy City wasn't all that conducive for finding your way, and since his phone battery had long since died, Dante was stuck relying on the old fashioned approach. Namely asking every, single, person he saw.

Every.

Single.

Person.

Unfortunately, new schools weren't exactly on the radar of the average denizen, and thus Dante's progress had been rather slow. Finally though, he made some progress thanks to a certain bratty kid. Unfortunately, said kid wouldn't give Dante the information, until Dante found his wallet depleted gambling his money away for the prize in one of those funky ball machine things.

First day in Academy City and he was already off to a great start.

Maybe he should've just stayed home.

No. it's not that bad, I'll make it there soon enough.

I'm not that late.

Well, 20 minutes but still.

Not that late.

Kicking off into a sprint, Dante was pleased to realize he wasn't too far away, and his arrival took only a few moments. The beam of light called down from the heavens, his eyes quickly revealing to be Magic, immediately cued him into where his destination was. Plus, it seemed he wasn't the only one running late. Slipping casually in line behind the brown haired girl, Dante found himself desperately wishing that his tardiness would go unnoticed or at the very least unpunished.

Maybe small talk would make it appear I've always been here?

Wonderful weather we're having?

Shut up Dante, just stay quiet.

Napoli Fiordilatte (Ground Pounding Action at the Airship Docks)

"I must say, never seen someone take nature vs nurture so literally. Did Mother Nature really piss you off that much?" A voice quipped behind Shiro's head. "That said, I suppose Mother Nature is exceptionally thick skulled, you might actually have to pound harder to get her attention. Some might even say she's hard as rock."

Now that he had Shiro's attention, Napoli raised a single hand in greeting, and as always, accompanied it with a massive grin. The huntsman in training, fresh out of his first day of classes at Beacon, had felt the need to escape. The boss kept getting on his case about going to a party, Beryl was still asleep last he saw her, and well... well, no one else deserved mention. They should be Gratious he even thought of them for a split second.

That was terrible. Even her name is useless for puns. What else can I say?

Mind the row?

What sense does that make.

Anyway, back to the stuff that mattered.

Despite these rapid fire thoughts, Napoli's greeting for Shiro did not miss a beat or experience any delays. Shiro may have been a Tiger, but the cat did not have his tongue.

See, even Shiro's name works better for jokes.

Sorry.

Focus Napoli.

As his raised hand came down and extended into an offered handshake, Napoli took the opportunity for a proper introduction this time, "Greetings Signor, name's Napoli Fiordilatte, we've bumped into each other a few times but we never quite got the opportunity for a proper introduction. You're Shiro," There was a brief pause as Napoli racked his brain for a last name, before being forced to forfeit, "Sorry, I don't think I ever had the chance to learn your last name. Regardless, I'm pleased to meet you. mind if I ask what brings you out here?"
@Onarax - Should I wait for Napoodle or go ahead and situate my tiger boy at the Airship docks?

I was just about say go ahead.

Sorry it's been a long day and I just got home.

@Suku The original incarnation of Dante took some inspiration from Campione although that's changed a lot over the years and pretty much phased out. Coeur De Leon had no concious influence, and was built entirely on my own research for this game. That said I could be forgetting something from the show that inspired me subconsciously. I saw it years ago.
@Suku Is Dante worthy of approval?
And finally finished. This took longer than expected.
