Ah, DQIX. That was a fun game. Sadly, never beat any bonus bosses because I couldn't bother to grind everyone up for the quests and all that, and given that I never got a Metal King grotto to farm and stuff I never really beat more than a low level Baramos lol.

But yeah, I'm interested; sign me up, I guess.
Though I am curious as to how things will work before you hit Stornway, given that the Hexagoon was a solo boss iirc.

Weapon:
In addition to average ninja weapons such as shuriken and kunai, Obra's signature weapons are two sickles linked by a long chain. One sickle is sharp and held in the left hand, whilst the other is blunt and is held in the right hand. Common fighting strategy is to 'hook' an adversary with the blunt sickle, and pull them towards him to be hit with the sharper sickle. For this reason, Satus is ambidextrous.

Ninja Arts:

Persistent Fog
Not particularly considered a ninja art, as it's a passive "ability", but it's significant enough to warrant a note.
For the most part, Satus is commonly covered in a mist that normally accumulates around his feet, but occasionally rises to cover an area around him.

Shapes in the Mist
One of the signature abilities of the Mistvell Order. An ninja art which creates anything various forms of fogs. Each one has a different effect, although only one can be active at a time. Satus is impaired to the effects of his product:

Fog:
The most basic form of Shapes in the Mist. Creates a visibility reducing fog. Satus himself is relatively unaffected by the visibility reducing aspect. Aside from this, this form of the art is safe to breathe and is easy to maintain. Fog also has the largest radius of 14 metres.

Smog:
Fog mixed with smoke. Tinted yellow, Satus finds this use of Shapes in the Mist to be more effective in battle and assassination, as it is significantly more dangerous than a basic fog. Smog causes eye irritation and slight breathing issues for distractions, but has a smaller radius at around 10 metres.

Vog:
The most dangerous form of Shapes in the Mist, volcanic fumes. Vog has the smallest radius of 6 metres, and takes quite a large amount of energy to uphold, but has the most debilitating effects. Extensively standing in vog causes headaches, nausea, eye irritation and sore throats. Satus uses will sometimes use it for assassinations, because with high enough quantities, it can kill.

Fume's Night
Obra conceals himself in Fog, Smog or Vog, and uses the concealment to toss the blunt sickle outward in an attempt to pull his target inside of the fog's radius. From there, Satus, pummels his target and then kicks them out of said fog.

Personality:
Manipulative and cunning while maintaining just enough sarcasm and snark to give himself some form of personality, Satus Obra is one of the many "evil" ninjas which exist within Gessen Gracious Academy. A member of the Mistvell Order, his lawful evil nature comes from the fact that he obeys the ancient tenets set by the Order without question, recognizing that these tenets may be cruel and do not entwine with common laws, but obeying them nonetheless. It is for this exact reason that he undergoes all of his missions with utmost seriousness, monotone and deadpan; still enough room to snark to his opponents in combat though. Satus has also been seen to take a leader role in situations where he is in a group, assuming that the ninjas he is consorting with at the time are evil. Or apart of the Mistvell Order.

An unusual quirk of his is that he uses Gessen Gracious Academy's cooking facilities to cook a traditional English breakfast when he's particularly happy.

There's no explanation for that.

Bio:
The Mistvell Order is a ninja clan distant from common civilization. Their base of operations can be found surrounded by a series of high mountains, and sits in the middle upon a low-lying flatland, and draped in an everlasting mist. The Mistvell order is known for having tenets which are expected to be followed at all times. Where most of these tenets are fairly simple and expected, there is one tenet in the Mistvell doctrine which causes the Mistvell Order to be classified as an evil clan:

'For the right price, anything.'

No job is too big, no fee is too big. The Mistvell Order will perform any serious job without question, as long as the price is right. Both petty and grand scale theft, assassinations of leaders, peasants and all in-between. The Mistvell Order's doctrine is followed by all ninjas in the clan, and in most cases it is completely necessary for the young within the clan to be taught within the clan. It is unusual that such a clan would require to send their young to a ninja school; such is the case with Satus Obra. He has been trained with the use of mist arts, fully understood the doctrine and has undergone missions several times before at the behest of Mistvell, but attends Gessen Gracious not to learn how to be a ninja, but rather to learn to further his abilities as one.

Elren smirked for a brief moment. He had successfully placed himself under the guise of conceding. Arms above his head still, he waited. It was tiring, but necessary. His opponent had seemingly gotten over their conflicted feelings. This proved true for Elren also, although for different reasons. The opponent held their dagger toward the white-haired boy. This was fine. It was something Elren believed he could avoid in order to get off a single strike. His opponent was approaching, and Elren waited for the perfect moment to strike. The white-haired boy glanced to his own dagger, behind him. He judged the distance again. It was out of nervousness really. Failure would present undesirable consequences, afterall.

The boy lunged forward at his opponent, aiming a punch towards the man's face - more specifically his nose, with the intent to disable him. Incapacitation would be the first step to Elren's plan.
