BECAUSE I AM SWITCHING ACCOUNTS TO POKE, THIS ACCOUNT WILL NOW SERVE AS A MEMORIAL TO THE ONLY KING THAT MATTERS.

Ostarion, the Skeleton King

"Bone is strongest where it's mended."

The victim of a longevity spell that backfired, the Skeleton King Ostarion has built an empire from the bones of his enemies. He lives only to extend his reach, for as long as he is perpetually building and adding to his domain he cannot die. The walls of his palace are formed of fired bone; the streets are paved with bones of every sort of creature and every enemy; and even the wood and other natural features of his land have been swept away and replaced with replicas formed of bone. From the Ivory Forest to Ostarion's towering Throne of Bone, nothing happens in the Empire of Bones without the full knowledge of its Skeleton King.

"...Here." a tired voice said.

On the wall, a portal opened, and from it walked out Augur.

"Yo."

The Student Relations Officer was tasked with obtaining information regarding the tension between the different factions. It was a simple task, but took longer than it probably should have, simply because of Augur's laziness. With tired eyes he glanced around the Student Council meeting room, seeing the many faces of the Student Council - save for the President, who was still off somewhere. Whether or not the President actually told the council where he was going, Augur couldn't really remember. That was irrelevant now, though.

"Seems like...everyone's getting ready for a war. Nobody seems to be entirely ready for it, though." He said. The portal was still open, the boy reached inside of it, pulling out a ball. He bounced it idly as he continued to give the report.

"The Fighter's Guild is probably the most fired up about the conflict at the moment...as per usual. The Imperial Regiment's still being composed n' orderly, and the Coalition...doesn't actually seem to care."

In spite of what seemed to be an upcoming conflict, the Student Relations Officer didn't deliver the report with any urgency or particular emotion. Although, Augur was definitely bothered by the upcoming Rumble. It was something he had to participate in, and he wasn't very fond of putting effort into anything - especially an all-out brawl. Hopefully the students would just ignore him during the fight, but that had no chance of happening.

The panicked screams and shouts of the students in addition to many of the students running about in panic. Mostly due to the countdown, although a select few students were being affected by the fog that Satus had created. The ninja was still searching for an opening to exploit. He noticed the stacking of several chairs, although he didn't really want to shove past any hordes of students which were after the generous chair exit. That, and Satus automatically assumed it to be unstable anyway. Maybe someone would kick it over for the sake of it, but Satus had little time to ponder about what was going to happen to a bunch of chairs.

It was around this time that Satus noticed fire. Fire? In the auditorium already? The brief light it produced pierced through the sparse fog, atop of Satus' already exceptional eyesight. He watched with both surprise and intrigue as one of the students - a bandaged up student - seemed to melt a part of the door, and managed to open it as a result, but in spite of such a skilled usage of fire, the female assassin didn't appear to be leaving the auditorium for some reason.

If she wasn't going to capitalize on the new exit, then Satus would.

The ninja dashed across the auditorium towards the now-open door, and used the momentum of his run to jump through the doorway, past the girl. As he jumped past, he spoke.

"Thank you for your contribution, First Year." Satus said in a smug tone. He hadn't seen this person before, so he assumed they were a First Year. They were pretty easy to use, or at least that's what Satus believed.

Although, the momentum of his jump proved to also be a hindrance. While Satus had managed to get out of the doorway, he found himself hurdling towards a wall. Since he was in the middle of his leap, he couldn't manage to stop moving forward, and he impacted the wall with a loud thud.

The impact had definitely disoriented him a bit, but he did not want to reveal that to the bandaged girl. Satus brushed himself off, and headed in the direction of the dorms. It wouldn't be too difficult to recall the layout of the school. He was a Second Year, after all.
Although he wouldn't mind being somewhere else, Satus felt an obligation to attend the introduction. Perhaps that stemmed from Satus' innate seriousness, or he was just afraid of the consequences of not turning up; the Head Director did carry an intimidating aura of sorts. Either way, he was there and he was listening. As per usual, the boy was surrounded by a light mist which would slowly rise and fall, it inadvertently served as a sort of distraction to a small portion of the First Years, but the Second Years and Third Years were somewhat used to seeing it by now.

"...and one day, you too will represent the name, pride, and doctrine of Riddle Academy."

Satus frowned at hearing the sentence. His loyalty definitely lied within his own clan, Mistvell. He had no intention of representing Riddle Academy in the future. At the same time, he didn't really want to say anything that would cause a scene in front of the Head Director. He also didn't want to be killed. The mist surrounding Satus became slightly thicker and colder in response to his apprehension, but he continued to pay attention to the speech anyway, out of necessity.

“As a new class for a new year, let’s start things off with a literal bang. You are all dismissed and I expect you to be able to find both your dorm room and your roommate before the timer runs out.”

With both the words of the Head Director and the timer itself, it was fairly easy to infer that there was about to be utter chaos in the auditorium. Hell, it was already happening amongst a portion of the First Years. Satus' perceptiveness allowed him notice a couple of students who believed going up was the way out, although Satus was not inclined to mindlessly follow that idea just yet.

Instead, the ninja stood and began to produce a fog which gradually spread several metres around him, filling a noticeable portion of the auditorium. He assumed that it would stop others from getting in his way, but it seemed to escalate the problem a bit. Some students who couldn't see began to bump into each other, causing even more chaos than what was happening before. Satus himself was not subjected to the vision impairment, and watched intently, waiting for someone to find a successful escape route.
Satus Obra, Ninja of the Mist

Nickname:
Mist Knight

Age:
15

School Year:
Second

Gender:
Male

Nationality:
English

Personality:
For the most part, Satus Obra is seen as monotone, cunning and has enough snark for just about anyone. Satus is devoted to the Mistvell Order, being raised upon their customs and tenets. As a result, he is quite arrogant, and sees both himself and the Mistvell Order as superior in comparison to all else. He is not unsociable, but Satus can prove to be overly serious in almost any given situation, which proves to be an advantage, and a detriment (mostly a detriment). Satus refers to himself as a ninja, rather than an assassin. He constantly corrects people who call him an assassin, and actually kind of takes offence to it for some reason.

However, the personality above only really applies to people who have spent a little time with Satus. As time goes on, people tend to see that he can be uncharacteristically dramatic over trivial things. Insults from other students are like critical attacks to him, and put him in to deep despair, although only for around five seconds. He also uses the Home Ec. room to bake muffins when he is particularly happy, although he tries to keep that a secret. He normally just leaves them in the Home Ec. oven for someone to find.

Bio:
The Mistvell Order is a ninja clan distant from common civilization. Their base of operations can be found surrounded by a series of high mountains, and sits in the middle upon a low-lying flatland, and draped in an everlasting mist. The order is known for having tenets which are expected to be followed at all times. Where most of these tenets are fairly simple and expected, there is one tenet in the Mistvell doctrine which causes the Mistvell Order to be notorious amongst other families and clans:

'For the right price, anything.'

The Mistvell Order does not simply limit themselves to assassinations. No job is too big, no fee is too big. The Mistvell Order will perform any serious job without question, as long as the price is right. Both petty and grand scale theft, assassinations of leaders, peasants and all in-between. The Mistvell Order's doctrine is followed by all ninjas in the clan, and in most cases it is completely necessary for the young within the clan to be taught within the clan. It is unusual that such a clan would require to send their young to a assassin school; such is the case with Satus Obra. He has been trained with the use of Mistvell's Shapes in the Mist, fully understood the doctrine and has accompanied Mistvell ninjas on missions several times before at the behest of Mistvell.

Perhaps the Mistvell Clan felt threatened by the school, and sent Satus there to learn their teachings and subsequently use them to better the clan in the far future. One cannot say for sure. For the time being, Satus is definitely content to simply attend the school, and hone his skills for the years to come.

Weapon:
In addition to the typical shuriken, Obra's signature weapons are two sickles linked by a long chain. One sickle is sharp and held in the left hand, whilst the other is blunt and is held in the right hand. Common fighting strategy is to 'hook' an adversary with the blunt sickle, and pull them towards him to be hit with the sharper sickle. For this reason, Satus is ambidextrous.

Equipment:
Mobile phone, grappling hook and an orange.

Skills:

Agility
Like most assassins, Satus is dexterous and mobile.

Perceptive
Satus's vision is exceptional, his eyes are not affected by the fogs that he produces, and is able to pick out certain details at distances; better than the average person.

Limited Baking Ability
For some reason, Satus is extremely good at baking muffins, but can't really do anything else in regards to food preparation.

Abilities:

Persistent Fog
A passive aspect of Satus due to his power, but significant enough to warrant a note.

For the most part, Satus is commonly covered in a mist that normally accumulates around his feet, but occasionally rises to cover an area around him. This particular mist decreases the temperature of rooms by a small, yet noticeable amount, and can prove to be a bother to other students as a result.

Shapes in the Mist
An ability which is found within the bloodlines of those within the Mistvell Clan - specifically members of the original Mistvell family. It is considered to be a "ninja art" which gives its users the ability to create and manipulate various types of fog and vapour. The main usage of this ability would naturally be to obscure the vision of an adversary, making it difficult for them to fight back against the user. However, the user may also produce more dangerous types of fog; smog and vog. These two forms of fog have debilitating effects, based on how long a person remains in them, but they also have smaller distances in comparison to regular fog. Obra himself is unaffected the mist which he creates. Below is a list of the different types of fogs Satus can produce and manipulate.

Augur, the Student Relations Officer

Year Level:
Second Year.

Faction/club:
Student Council - Student Relations Officer

Power:

Trickster

An animated magical power which belies the laziness of Augur, while also supplementing that inherent attribute. Trickster is a power which manifests itself in two ways.

Portal Creation
As the name suggests, Augur has the ability to create portals, allowing the connection of two locations. Augur can have up to two portals existing at a time. For the most part, Augur can manipulate the size of the portal, anywhere from the size of a tennis ball to the size of an average door. People and items who enter one of the portals briefly travel through a zone which can only be described as "obnoxiously purple" before reaching their destination. However, sentient beings in particular are quite slow when exiting a portal, meaning one could take advantage of this in combat if they are fast enough.

In addition, Augur must have been to an area in person before he can create portals there.

Naturally, Augur uses this ability to quickly navigate around school grounds. Allowing him to do his job as the Student Relations Officer, despite his languid nature.

Trickster's Space
The second, more offensive aspect of Augur's Trickster ability, and is seen as the obnoxiously purple space between Augur's portals. Trickster's Space allows the creation of items, which can be conjured and subsequently be released from a portal. The items that Trickster's Space contains is limited in a sense. Not only are they limited in size (no bigger than your average door), but they also seem to follow a circus/prankster motif, with some emphasis on offense. Bouncy balls, bombs which look like bouncy balls, spiked bouncy balls, and various circus-related items. Common procedure calls for Augur to simply create items from a portal to pelt an opponent, but Augur may also release an avalanche of rubber balls to strike an opponent, redirect already thrown items via the use of his portals, and subsequently retrieve them to throw again.

While Trickster has high offensive potential in some cases, it lacks defensive capabilities outside of a few specific scenarios. Because of this, Augur is often vulnerable to being attacked, should his onslaught miss or be resisted.

Bio:
Augur was born into an average family. His parents had dreams of a having an intelligent child, and wanted to push Augur to be exceptional in school. At the same time, they were worried of the adverse effects of putting pressure on their child. They decided they would wait to give Augur this push. This turned out to be a mistake. Perhaps the parents should have made the attempt at edging Augur towards greatness sooner, or maybe it was just ingrained into Augur's personality extremely early, but the boy was possibly the single most lazy child to ever exist. In spite of this, he managed to do surprisingly well in school, but that only served to reinforce the idea that he didn't have to put much effort into anything. It was around this time that he discovered his power. Whether it came about through family bloodlines, an experience, or sheer purity of will from laziness, Augur did not know, but it solved many of the issues that came with his personality. Allowing him to travel to nearby locations with ease.

The uniqueness of his power allowed him to join Kagetora, and within a year Augur was able to ascend to the rank of Student Relations Officer. The intricacies of his ascent are somewhat obscure, most assume that it stemmed from his ability to warp and subsequently gather information regarding who is fighting and why. Some claim that he had achieved his title through combat, although hardly anyone has witnessed him fight before. His extreme laziness has already been established in his reputation among students, but so has his above average intellect, leading some to believe that he has a sort of hidden potential which serves to deter some students from challenging him.

Augur appears to have no goals at the moment, aside from his desire to keep solidarity within Student Council, and also graduate by putting in as little work as the rest of the Student Council allow him.

I'll try to get a character sheet done by the end of the day.

Just woke up, so same.
This is pretty cool. Interested.
Are the Student Council slots open for applications? If so, I'd like to make a Student Relations Officer.
Interested.
