Hi there,

Sorry for the lack of prettier formatting - I'm tired and can't actually be bothered right now.

So let's start off with an introduction. I'm a returning player starting anew. Basically, life is taking a dump on me right now so I thought I would once again try my hand at some good old writing escapism, see if I can shake off some of that rust. I'm a female in my mid-twenties, if that information is somehow of interest to you. I've also been writing/roleplaying for over ten years. I might come off as somewhat of a grouch (or weird), but I like to think I'm pretty nice once I warm up to people.

What I want in a partner:

- Someone capable of writing about three or so paragraphs per post (I will accept two though), and longer than that for an introduction. Ideally, an "advanced" level writer with a good - if not exceptional - command of the written English language. Length is unimportant in comparison to the quality of writing. Occasional and unintentional errors are a-okay, but I just can't read a post riddled with grammatical or spelling mistakes.

- Someone who can work with a haphazard posting schedule, and won't harangue for posts. I might respond in a day, or three, or even up to a week. It really depends. Of course I'll try to keep an open line of communication, but with life being the way that it is, I can't guarantee any form of consistency.

- Someone who doesn't need any sort of "face claim" or CS. Textual descriptions are usually what I tend to work with, and I usually include that in my introductory posts.

- Someone comfortable with adult/mature themes. This does not mean just smut (jumping straight to smut or rushing me to write romance scenes at the very beginning of a roleplay tends to really put me off). What I refer to are things like alcoholism, violence, drug use, etc. Whatever the story calls for. Also, this does not mean I hate romance in a story - I do enjoy it as an element if it's drawn out and well done, progressing as the story itself progresses.

- Someone who doesn't write helpless characters. If your character is going to get kidnapped 3879234 times and requires saving every time, or cries enough to rival a tropical rainstorm in liquid volume, we're unlikely to be a good match-up.

Me as a partner:

- I roleplay exclusively through PMs. Sorry thread lovers.

- My average post length is about three paragraphs. I will at least give you two. However, I can usually write more than that depending on what I have to work with.

- I write male and female characters. I don't have a particular preference.

- Romance is fun and all, but instamance/instasmut is likely to turn me away almost instantly (see what I did there). Slow and realistic progression is what I'm looking for in any story featuring a romantic element. However, the plot/main story conflict always comes first. No exceptions. I will also write stories without romance (I don't need romance to enjoy a story). As for pairings, I write M/F, M/M, and F/F - though I prefer M/F as it's what I have the most experience in.

- I like my stories to be dark, realistic, and gritty. Occasional happy-fluff is fine, but I like characters to struggle with fear, anger, ambiguous moral decisions, and other fun things.

- I will write multiple characters if our story calls for a larger cast.

Genres I'm interested in:

- Medieval/urban fantasy
- Sci-fi/futuristic/cyberpunk
- Apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic/dystopian
- Military/war/conflict
- Espionage/crime/action
- Horror/paranormal/supernatural/slasher
- Slice-of-life

Currently craving:

Ideas currently on my mind:

Please send your own ideas. If I had to post everything on my mind, it'd take an eternity.

If you're interested in writing with me:

Send me a PM with as much detail as possible (including if you want romance as element, what kind of character you'd like to play, etc). Feel free to send your own ideas as well; I consider myself pretty open. I also only have the time to take a limited number of partners; if I fail to respond to your message, it's likely because I've reached that limit. Please don't post here; if you do, it'll likely be ignored. Thanks much.
