Current History won't remember the critic, but rather those whom inspired the criticism.

If we are still live I'm ready to get posting.
Went a different route and created a nice businessman to make things interesting.

Character
Name: Robert James Kirnwall III

Species: Homo Sapien

Affiliation: Current CEO controlling stockholder of The AESIR Corporation the parent company of: Kirnwall Investments, Kirnwall Realty, Pantheon Technical Developers, Oculus Intelligence Applications, Legend Security Solutions and a few other companies that aren’t worth listing.

Bio: Born into family of money that has existed so long that the origin of their wealth is even a mystery to them, Robert James Kirnwall III never had a difficult life. He went to school, studied business and economics, then went on to continue in the family business of banking investment, real estate, tech development, security solutions and privately funded warfare. The Kirnwall family has always overseen a business empire operating in both the legal and “gray” areas of the economy. Robert saw it only fit to respect family tradition and expand its operations throughout the known regions of space.

Goals: Robert J. Kirnwall III’s goals are quite simple, he would like to make to things happen: One, he would like to acquire colonial security contracts from the United Front, as believes their grasp is slipping and they would spent a large sum of money to ensure their territories are not lost to them. Second, he would like to begin privatized colonial efforts on several habitable worlds outside the realms of the United Front, people would pay a pretty penny to get out of the political turmoil of the UF and even more so if there were luxury living accommodations awaiting them in some far off paradise courtesy of AESIR.

The AESIR Corporation: Whether it’s fruitful stock market investments or putting down worker’s rebellions on mining colonies, AESIR has enjoyed a fruitful past half century and is currently being brought into the new age by it’s CEO Robert James Kirnwall III.

Spaceships

Name: The Bastion

Origin: Originally three separate battlecruiser that had been decommissioned, the Bastion was designed by Kirnwall and a team of hired engineers and built courtesy of one of Kirnwall’s own ship building companies. The purpose of this immense military vessel was to be for Kirnwall’s own personal use. The ship currently serves as headquarters for his business ventures and as his own private military vessel.

Description: The immense vessel has been retrofitted to look a lot less like the technological frankenstien of three separate vessels and a lot more like the sleek modern corporate “solution” it really is. With docking bays located towards the bow ship that can accommodate several fighter/bomber “escort” groups and a compliment of AESIR corporate “security personnel” living in the ship’s onboard luxury apartment bloc, The Bastion is too dissimilar to a moving military base. The ship is also fitted with a science and research center, a fully capable medical bay, spa, entertainment/arcade bay and even a five star restaurant. To be clear and concise The Bastion takes the power and capabilities of a military vessel and pleasantly combines it with the comfort and extravagance of a private yacht.
If ya'll are still accepting apps, I think I have an anarchist faction in mind that could work.

CS INBOUND! Really interested in this.

Being from the military, I can tell you this - this is like an Airmen's dorm room (equivalent to a private) ... so for him to have been used to less seems rather odd. It's also very odd that this is all a commander gets. Usually high ranking individuals get very lavish and open rooms and offices - so much so that you can actually get in trouble for leaving a mess if your maintenance, in their offices. The only way this would be acceptable for a high ranking officer is if the ship is literally that crowded, haha.

Being in the U.S military myself (small world right), I can tell you that I know all this, and frist lietenants, what Daryn was when still in the military (or whatever the junior officer equivalent is the UFH) don't get quite so lavish loggings. Most Officers, in the U.S military at least, live in houses with their families. Having been a private before, I can tell you I'd never seen a dorm, and in fact spent all my time in a barracks with the rest of my battery (Artillery equivalent of a company). I'm taking liberties here because it's on a space ship that IS NOT, a military ship. I stated in the CS that all the Order ships are refitted civilian or church ships.

Don't know how it works for the churchy people, but in the military, you don't salute indoors unless at an official function receiving an award. :p

ALso, the reason their saluting in doors (on the ship) is because they aren't in the military anymore or never were. Their being a little joky and offering the Commander a salute because they know he'll return it. No one is going to get chewed out or smoked because again, it isn't the military. They follow orders ansd they get the job done, that's their only mandate as a knightly order. Decorum and drill and ceremony don't matter to them.

And last of all, thanks for this because I know it means that you actually read it an enjoyed it.

Nope, you fail.

Then it must be impossible, because the challenge existing to begin with empowers whoever created the challenge to be the judge. IT'S AN EMPOWERMENT PARADOX. I'm going to faint.
Existence Challengel:
Try existing without empowering someone.

Challenge Completion Criteria: Become so great that all other matter is inferior.
