(If you know the basic opening of One Piece, you get the Idea. AU, with many different characters, though Gol D. Roger is still here with all of his achievments.)
Twenty years ago, a man named Gold Roger, the Pirate King, was executed in Lougetown. However, before he was slain, he proclaimed to all that his Treasure, the One Piece, was left on the Grand Line, and belongs to the first person to find it. Because of this, the Golden Age of the Pirates has begun, as Pirates from all over the world flock to the Grand Line, in search of the great treasures accumulated over the Pirate King’s Career. Many search for it, simply to become the richest and most respected pirate in the world, others wish just for the journey. No matter the reason, the World Government is worried about what this could mean for the safety of the world.
So with the Doctrine of Absolute Justice, the World Government has begun a world-wide attempt to keep the peace and mitigate the damage from the pirates. But with the many Devil Fruit Users popping up all over the seas, as well as the many incredible swordsmen and tyrants among the sea, there is no telling how hard their goal may be, or if they really are doing this for the good of the people.

The first Ever RP I was a part of, was on Snafu-forums. It was called Elemental Academy I believe. The first Ever RP I made here had a troll called lv99troll.
I actually have a similar tabletop going on irl. Giant MMO, some problem happens, misguided good intentions, people start dieing and going crazy, hackers are like gods, etc.

Disperse Minovsky Particles. Sorry, watched too much Reconquista. Every battle started with "Dispers Minovsky Particles." That would stop radio contact. Only direct link, cable, and infrared worked.
