I'm still God.

Bio

If we are marked to die, we are enough
To do our country loss; and if to live,
The fewer men, the greater share of honour.
God’s will! I pray thee, wish not one man more.
By Jove, I am not covetous for gold,
Nor care I who doth feed upon my cost;
It yearns me not if men my garments wear;
Such outward things dwell not in my desires;
But if it be a sin to covet honour,
I am the most offending soul alive.
No, faith, my coz, wish not a man from England.
God’s peace! I would not lose so great an honour
As one man more, methinks, would share from me
For the best hope I have. O, do not wish one more!
Rather proclaim it, Westmoreland, through my host,
That he which hath no stomach to this fight,
Let him depart. His passport shall be made,
And crowns for convoy put into his purse.
We would not die in that man’s company
That fears his fellowship to die with us.

„Suki 'Valentina' Matisashi and Kanamaru 'Joshua' Matisashi”

Suki was just about to head out to work when her brother suddenly started yelling. Profanities in Japanese weren't common inside, not where mum and dad could hear them, so something must've been very wrong. Her heels clicked on the floor as she walked back into the living room, her head peaking around the corner of the doorpost. „What's wrong, Kanamaru?” she asked with a concerned look in her eyes. She was probably wondering if he might've cut himself with some knife or something. „Stupid TV went out.. I guess we haven't paid the fucking electrical bill.” he mumbled as he got up and gave two firm claps on the TV. „Ah, wait. It works again.” he said, stepping back to look at what was on the TV.

Suki shook her head and turned around again, but got interrupted by Kanamaru's annoying voice again. „Kanamaru, just watch whatever is on TV. We can't afford cable, so stop complaining.” she said loudly, ensuring that he'd hear him as she opened the door and left the house. She got no response so she assumed that he'd listen to her and just watch whatever was on. She locked the door behind her and then walked down the stairs that led to their house. As she got all the way down she'd be faced with some serious confusion as the screens were black, with white text on them. This wasn't normal for Providence.. at all. The messages were slightly unclear.

„*WARNING* You have been lied to. They say they protect you. But they don’t. They say they give you everything. But they take everything for themselves. We can feel. We can rise. And when we do, no one will protect you.”

„What the hell does that mean?” she asked herself, speaking out loud by accident. People around her were acting panicky while some hovercars hoovered in place silently so the drivers could read the message. After that the screens cut black again shortly before going back to the normal programming of blue skies with clouds. Some people started talking of a conspiracy, others just assumed it was a glitch in the screens CPU. After all, they're only CPU's. Suki wasn't sure what it was, but decided not to give it too much thought. Damnit! And she was running late, too. Damn Kanamaru and his constant yelling. She quickly continued on her way to the Japanese restaurant, in order to earn some money.

Meanwhile, Kanamaru was already on the phone with a friend of his. „Yooooo, Shizui. Did you get that news thing just now? Yeah man, some crazy governmental shit is going down. What? A circuit glitch? No, I'm telling you. Someones trying to tell us something man. Eh..? What? I don't know what, you baka. Whoever wrote that message wasn't very clear, must've been written by a five year old. Oh, you're going out? Meet you at Nara's car shop? Yeah, give me five minutes.”

Kanamaru hung up his phone and grabbed his black track jacket. He zipped it up all the way before he left the house, ensuring that he locked the door behind him as well. Once he got downstairs onto the streets he headed around the corner to an alleyway, where his hover bike was parked. Well, hoverbike. It was a heap of junk, but it worked. Besides, he had pimped it a bit, and added neon lights and stuff like that. It looked like a proper racing bike, atleast. He slid his leg over the seating and sat down, putting on a helmet once he got on top and starting the engine, sending the hoverbike hovering into the air. It was a pretty good feeling, hovering like this, but it was even better going 120 kilometres an hour, being chased by some cops. He grinned, thinking back to that time he got chased by Longsword. They really were the idiots of the police force. Using a heavy hover-APC to hunt down criminals on speedy hoverbikes. Idiots. His hoverbike quietly flew out of the alleyway before going onto the road, before speeding off into the distance towards Nara's car shop.
Awesome!
The Queens Guard: Guardians in Exile

Hey there, recently I've been milling around with my dissapointment in the lack of 'realistic' medieval RP's. So I waited for a while and nothing really sprung up -- there's good fantasy RP's out there but I prefer mine to have very very light fantasy touches, which alter the roles of women and men for instance. So now I have decided that I should make my own then because after all, if you want something done right you need to do it yourself, right? I came up with the following idea, but I'm up for suggestions or even willing to change everything if someone has a way better idea.

The Queen of Arlon, a small but stable kingdom or queendom if you will, has recently been exiled from her own castle by her brother, the illegit king Godwin the Free. He has seized control over the country but foolishly allowed the former Queen to keep one of her assets: the castle of Stags' Rest. Because of her surrender once Godwin seized the throne, she was allowed to remain alive. But anyone with eyes and ears still fair can understand her intentions, as news has spread that she has hired the famous Iron Company, a mercenary group whom travel Arlon and deal death and pain for coin. With promises of wealth and power she has transformed them into the Queens Guard, a new order of Knighthood formed to protect and serve the Queen in any way she deems neccesary.

The Queens Guard, or former Iron Company, are not knightly whatsoever, and in order to fit in with these knights, aristocrats and diplomats they will need to adjust themselves. But their primary function will be at the queens castle, or on the battlefield. They number in the fifties, a small company if you will. But this doesn't say anything about the lethality which was the cause of their name spreading further than the borders of even Arlon itself. The Queens Guard isn't picky about who it hires -- women and men are hired alike and with this new funding from the former Queen, they can afford to hire more suitable guards. All that they ask?

Unfaltering loyalty.

So, I'm just posting this to see if there is any interest. If there is, I can elaborate this into an OOC. Please do remember I am always open for suggestions for plots, or even for total turn-arounds of the RP if everyone agrees to it. If there are people that wish to GM this, just contact me, if people wanna co-GM contact me, etc. Above all please have fun.

OOC here!
Accepted on my end.

Suki Hanamoto

An hour after graduating ~~

“Congratulations on passing your exams, Suki.” Kanajiro smiled at her and tilted his head sideways a bit, bending through his knees a bit. In front of him, in his hands, laid a packaged present for Suki. For once, Suki seemed to smile back as she grabbed the present and unwrapped it, discovering a trench-knife styled kunai in it with the mark of the Hanamoto clan in it. She pushed her fingers through the holes and gripped the kunai tight, giving it a few practice swings and stabs. “Thank you, Kanajiro-sama, it's beautiful.”

Kanajiro waved her comment away as if it didn't matter before explaining how he got it. “It used to be mother's kunai, so please cherish it Suki-chan.” Her eyes widened a bit as she put the kunai away safely in her pouch, suddenly realizing that this had to have been one of the few things that remained from mother. She looked around the courtyard, which was surprisingly empty. Though, it was to be expected that nobody but Kanajiro cared for her graduation, she was Haha no Hanamoto after all. “Kanajiro-sama, when will I have to take the ceremony?” She looked sort of nervous, not fully realizing the traditions of the family. “Last I checked you were a girl, Suki. Girls don't take the ceremony, because men need to prove their worth. A woman will always have worth to the family in bearing children -- though I expect you prefer to be a shinobi.” She seemed somewhat more at ease, relaxing her shoulders and neck a bit more once she got the news. “Hai, Kanajiro-sama. I want to be a shinobi, definetely now. I was always bored with class, but not anymore. I know who my sensei will be, do you wish to know who, Kanajiro-sama?”

Kanajiro noted the difference in her voice compared to normal, when she always sounded tired and bored. But now, for once, she seemed to be looking forward to being a shinobi. Maybe mother had been the same when she was a child. He grinned at her for no obvious reason. “Yes, Suki-san. Let's hear it.” he said as he walked off, Suki following him closely before catching up fully and walking next to him through the estate gates. They were headed for the library, as Kanajiro had to pick up some research books for a project of his. Meanwhile, during the walk, Suki opened up a bit towards her big brother and started talking on her own accord. “I got a card from my new sensei already, congratulating me. It even had a bag of bonbons attached, so I think she will be nice to me. Her name is Kaedai Hyuga, and people say she escaped from Konoha. I wonder if dad knows her, you think?”

Kanajiro thought back to their father, who was living in a grand palace in the land of Fire. “Yeah, I think so. If she escaped, that makes her his problem as well. However I didn't know Iwagakure had Hyuga refugees. Pretty cool sensei you have. I'm stuck with some lame Granite Guard. They all think that they are pretty tough. Wait until they see you in a few years.. you'll kick their ass, Suki.” He grinned as he said so but he meant every word of it -- the Granite Guard were pretty stuck up mostly. There were only two or three of them that didn't think they were all powerful. But Kanajiro had seen some of them parading around -- Xavi, Kyoko, Yuga.. they all seemed to think themselves the ultimate shinobi. But Kanajiro would ensure that the Hanamoto clan would become better than that -- powerful and humble.

“You're probably right, Kanajiro-sama. I mean, she's probably cool.. I'm not sure if I can ever take on Granite Guards like you will be. Is it true that the Hanamoto fighting style is inspired by the Hyuga?” Kanajiro saw the library coming into sight, and put an arm behind his head. He scratched the back of his head thinking of an answer. “Yeah, I guess you can say that. We took their style of harming someone without hitting them. We cannot cut off someones' tenketsu. But our fire can burn someone without hitting them. And in another way, we use a mixture of simple knuckle-hard fighting and more subtle styles, using open hands, palm strikes and pivoting on ones place. In short.. we like to rush into battle and start hand-to-hand combat, but you'll often find people switching to stance fighting, preferring to stay close to the enemy. Like so.”

As a manner of a joking way of showing her what he meant, he stepped out in front of her suddenly facing her, grabbed her arm and extended it with force, sending a palmstrike towards her elbow mimicking the breaking of it, before shoving her back with his opened palm and following her, extending his foot forwards in between her feet and stopping his hand inches from her face, knuckles almost touching her. He straightened himself again and put a hand on her hand, shoving her forwards towards the library again as he walked aside her. She seemed taken aback a bit, but quickly got back to normal. “Kanajiro-sama, why are we going to the library anyway?” she said as they entered, but Kanajiro didn't answer and instead just went and got the books, telling her to stay put. She leaned against the wall and almost fell asleep. Kanajiro was gone for like.. 20 minutes. “Wonder what he's getting..” she mumbled, her eyes already closed. But right then, he appeared in front of her with a pile of about 10 books, all related to 'teaching effectively.' Such a strange selection of books for a student. Ah well.. Suki got up again and walked home with her brother after this long day. Finally she was a genin like Kanajiro and Daisuke.
