Every aspect of Yudai, at least externally and from his appearance itself, seems distant. His gaze is a constant reminder of this, given the way it roams the whole time, briefly pausing on his surroundings before he takes interest in something else again. Even when Yudai is directly talking to someone, he avoids eye-contact entirely and if someone even tries to stare at him or look directly at his eyes for too long, he'll become rapidly nervous and anxious and might even avoid the person in question for a while.
Otherwise, Yudai is relaxed, but extremely observant. His mind is constantly noticing what is actually happening around him and thus, while others might see him as distracted and distant, he's the opposite. He finds his own life rather boring the majority of time which prompts him to search for enthusiasm on other things out on the world. He's also easily interested in hearing stories from others, or even simply listening others talk about their own life.
He has his own ambitions of becoming a highly respected political figure or leader, one day. But on the way the world is currently, he shoved such ambitions away and for now, he's only focused on strengthening himself.

【History】
Yudai's birth came from the love between Reiko and Kohaku - sadly, however, Reiko died due to complications at his birth. While the expected outcome was his father to put the blame on and give Yudai the worst life ever, in order for this story to follow the traditional hero backstory guide, the opposite happened.
Kohaku Kageyama was a hard-working man. He used to be a powerful shinobi many years ago, but lost his left eye and his right hand was completely destroyed in the same battle, thus leaving him unapt for battle for the rest of life. The loss of his wife could've disgraced his life forever, but instead, he found new hope on his newborn child, Yudai - the name 'Yudai' itself, was to show the man's hope of a hero, not for the nation, not for the world, but a hero that would save Kohaku himself, from utter depression.
Which Yudai indeed did. As any other child, he was very, very curious about everything and from the day he began learning his first words, he'd frequently ask his father about everything. Even about the eyepatch the man wore on his left eye, about the bandages around the man's right hand - and when the man began explaining about shinobi, about the wars.. Well, Yudai only became more interested in it altogether.
As he matured, reaching the age of eleven, Yudai slowly began developing a strange desire to be someone who had a high position. Power. Cue evil laugh. MUAHAHA! He wanted to be esteemed in a way that people would admire and respect because of his achievements in life. Of course, it was too soon to think about that, and Yudai was a mere child with an ambition bigger than himself. For now, the boy focused on studying... and training. He had taken an immense interest in shinobi. In fact, he spent more time reading about chakra, taijutsu and ninjutsu than he spent studying the school's subjects, which was the reason he almost failed the year.
His father aided him frequently, he gave his son clear training routines and made him follow them strictly. For some reason, he felt immense pride in his son following the same steps as him, while the same time, feared that he could end suffering the consequences of a war - like the man himself did. But, the thoughts that peace had finally settled in eased that fear.
When Yudai graduated, at the age of 14, he knew exactly that his dream of becoming someone with high power was indeed his true ambition. You see, he received quite the praise for being a dedicated student - even if he almost failed in the past year, he truly dedicated himself to studying this one and got amazing grades, impressing his teachers and father. When they openly talked about him and his dedication, his heart pouded inside his chest with what he could only understand as recognition. Cool.
Time eventually passed, Yudai grew into a fine - and very attractive - young man. He noticed that women generally were starting to take interest in him, perhaps it was the pale blue eyes, but honestly, he didn't care all that much. Yudai did had quite a few cases with one or another girl here and there, but it never blossomed into a true relationship, he was that type of guy. In fact, the older Yudai got, the more he found his life... boring. sexy boy is bored with women, looks for greater things in life and ultimately finds it in the shape of a notebook that belongs to a girl, he falls in love but she doesn't love him because he's a jerk, the end
It wasn't no one's fault, truly. It was just that his ambition - it was something that seemed far away from his reach, impossible - it was as if he could fight his whole life for it and yet, he'd never taste it.

Finally, Yudai finished highschool. It was the same year that he also offically graduated to a chunin rank shinobi - and the year he finally took interest in his own life, even if only just a little. It all started with one group... the Red Sages. How did he precisely end up with them then if I may ask?
【Family ties】
Kageyama is an old and traditional family. The majority of it's members were shinobi, with exceptions. They are divided, with a minor part living in Iwagakure and a larger part living in Konohagakure. In Konohagakure, Kageyama were known for running a restaurant which goes by the name of Yama-Yama. Fighting style】
Yudai is balanced between taijutsu and ninjutsu, rarely resorting to weapons or ranged weapons. He's very intelligent and tactical in his decisions, as if he had read everything there was to read regarding shinobi (which he probably did in his early life). See, while he's quite strong in hand-to-hand combat, Yudai's first choice is to always analyze his opponent. He appears to be MUCH more experienced and prepared than he truly is due to the manner he keeps himself extremely calm, in any situation. To him, a battle is nothing too different from his daily struggle with life itself.
Normally, his Doton ninjutsu is used as a defensive manner, instead of offensively. Thus, he'll always avoid ranged assaults with it. Sometimes, he'll use it offensively as nintaijutsu, but only if he finds a true opening to do so.
All good, can you maybe tell me some about the things he's not that good in? As I can read he's rather tactical and also strong (when it comes to taijutsu and ninjutsu) so what about what he's not good at?【

Custom made techniques】
Jutsu name:Doton - Kotai no HakaiRank:ARange:Short - hand to hand range.Description:This powerful technique developed by Yudai himself allows him to concentrate his doton chakra onto his hands and arms, coating them with a solid earthly surface. While most won't notice it's potential, whenever Yudai gets close range to someone, he can erupt solid earth spikes from his hands at will, thus, increasing the potential damage done by his punches as well as the range he can attack someone. By erupting many spikes at once, he can also potentially block minor attacks, but this is not a very resistant technique (it'd mostly block shuriken and kunai with ease). This technique's main weakness is the fact that once it's used one time, the foe - unless it's dumb as a brick - will know how to avoid it after. It also does not last too long, only lasting for about fourty minutes before Yudai needs to reapply the chakra - and unfortunately, it takes it's toll on his chakra pool, meaning that he can't keep reapplying it.
I don't think this technique would be a one time use - then reapply kind of jutsu. Because attaching stuff to your body requires constant chakra usage to maintain it - similar to how walking on water will require constant chakra appliance to maintain your feet above/on and not in the water.
Chakra usage could be small-medium level (it's A rank, so probably somewhere in between). But it's continuous, so he could not use it for too long. Then again, 5 seconds is +- 2 posts in the Naruto universe. 2 minutes or so would be more than enough for a technique like this.
When he uses the spike, chakra usage would surge I think, meaning he can't infinite spike at people.
In trade off for that you should make the armor a bit stronger - if I can destroy it with anything stronger than a kunai or shuriken thats not very strong for an A rank. I think it should be able to withstand fire jutsu of similar levels (so A rank jutsu would definetely be noticeable if he's encased in the armor, but he'd not take burn damage from it, just feel the heat while inside unless it's sustained or so, meaning he'd get boiled alive kekekeke) and wind and earth will be very ineffective against this jutsu. Water would be somewhat effective and electrical nintaijutsu would be highly effective. Normal electrical jutsu, probably not that much, because you're technically earthing your body meaning the electricity passes through you but doesn't deal damage because it goes into the earth.
That said, I don't really mind if you wanna say; fuck you Partisan. It's your jutsu, but this is just something that caught my eye. If you're fine with it as it is, feel free to place it in the character bin and add some details about how he joined the Red Sages (cause that's not explain.)【
