It had been an hour since Darrow had awoken, since he smelled the soldiers on the wind he had been stalking them. There were two of them, just a simple patrol, the only thing out of the ordinary was that these had animals with them. A large boar and an animal he hadn't seen before. It was slender and covered with black spots, either way it was dangerous, the thing had both speed and grace.

"Young one, do you see these men?" questioned Math'Ura in her thought speak.

"Yes, they seem to be like us. Yet they carry the colors of the soldiers...Should I give them the hunters mercy?" Asked Darrow, grip tightening on a spear he had readied.

"Not yet young one, they are near one of your traps." stated Math'Ura in a matter of fact tone.

Ah, Darrow remembered now. This was one of his more...creative traps. While simple in design, it was proving very efficient. With so many soldiers dying by his hand, he did not know what to do with all of this sharp, metal sticks that they liked to carry. Some of the elaboratly dressed ones even had gems and a yellow metal for the handle. Yet these were useless by themselves and so he dug a hole, and put all the pointy metal sticks at the bottom, covering the top with snow.

Sending a thought speak Darrow asked "Mother Bear, can you cause a distraction. I would like to question one...See what he knows about the recent growth of the base."

While getting on her hind legs, Math'Ura stated jollily "Why yes, that I can do." and proceeded to emit an earth shattering roar.

The men started to panic at the sight of the large bear and, with shaky orders, the one with the fast beast told it to attack. While impressive in its speed, it did not notice the snow breaking under its feet until it was too late and plummeted into the trap. With that done, Darrow let his own war cry pierce the sky and let loose his spear, not quite hitting his mark but the spear had landed well... right into the fast beast owners leg.
If you guys are still taking positions I'm interested.
I'm still lookin.
Super interested.
Naming code: CT-6223

Rank: Pivate

Callname: Heater

Appearance: The only thing that sets him apart from others is a burn scar that goes across his left cheek from a blaster exploding in his face, causing slight facial damage and the need for a cybernetic eye. Armor wise, he has very vanilla armor with only the modifications needed for his weapon. Heater has enlarged pauldrons and thicker armor on his upper chest and arms. Several blaster holes dot the shoulder pauldron. Scratched onto his helmet is the name "Lucky" who was one of the first of his squad to die on Geonosis.

Personality: Gruff, loyal, and a bit of a softy. CT-6223, or Heater, has always been few of words and large on action. Protecting others and taking a no man left behind ideal to most missions. While respecting his superiors, he will listen mostly to the ones that have earned his loyalty and will put himself in danger to protect these select few. Heater will always welcome the shines aboard the crew and will try his hardest to make sure they survive their first mission.

History: Only thing out of the ordinary was a blaster exploding in his face during training and the surgery needed to replace his eye.

Equipment: Besides the standard equipment, Heater has replaced his standard issue blaster with a Z-6 rotary cannon, perfect for suppressing fire and taking out heavier droids. With this in mind, due to the heaviness of the cannon, Heater was given heavier armor, able to take a bit more damage than the standard issue armor but at the price of reduced speed. His helmet is also a little different, not in appearance but in the fact that it connects to his cybernetic eye, giving him a rudimentary HUD and a aim assist.
Before I finish the character sheet, does anybody want an Ogryn body guard? Otherwise their going to be dead on arrival.
Pushing his way past several prisoners, Karnog steps up to the weapon rack and takes out the battleaxe. Iron, crude, and heavy, Karnog is almost insulted with the piss poor craftsmanship put into it.

"This axe ain't good enough to chop a skeever, let alone a skull." He said with a huff.

However, its better than using his fists, even if they could crush almost anyone in here. With that, Karnog holsters the axe and leans against a wall, idly picking rat chunks out of his teeth.
Sorry, double post.
So at least one character in a pair needs to have some form of magical aptitude of some sort, if that's the case my bare bones character before any real thought will be a human mage. I don't do that very often if at all so it would be a nice change of pace.
I got a quick question. What happens when a person dies before their guardian? Like, do they disintegrate or just kinda fall over and die. Maybe they live on kinda not all there.
