Duncan Ellis Borland

Age: Twenty

Family: Borland

Status: Adopted

Personality: Duncan is a well rounded guy, his heart still beats with youthful optimism and his mind has been tempered with bad experiences. He knows that the world isn't all glitter, rainbows, and happy endings so he tries to make the best out of it and lives each day like its his last. Friendly and trusting to a fault, Duncan is an easy person to get along with and can be one of your best friends if given half a chance. However this is a double edged sword and Duncan is easily manipulated by others who are less morally inclined, as such Duncan tends to stay out of both the seedier and richer parts of town since they are equally filled with liers.

History: Duncan was born in a troubled home, a mother that hated his existence and a father that just didn't care. Each were equally bad and he most likely would have ended up like them if he had stayed underneath their roof. Thankfully child services found out about his conditions and promptly took him out of that cesspool at the age of three. After staying with the services for a couple years, bouncing between houses he was finally taken in by Tory and there he stayed. Being the only foster care person that Duncan actually liked, Tory was the first and only woman Duncan has ever called "Mama" and after about three more years she made it official by adopting him.

During his school times Duncan got fairly average grades, mostly B's and C's, and would have gotten into collage if it wasn't so expensive. However this hasn't stopped him and he has been writing his story for the past couple years now and is pretty darn close to finishing it. Hopefully he can rake in a lot of money and lighten the load on Tory's shoulder, once a mama's boy always a mama's boy.

Now a days Duncan has recently moved back in due to a former friend and roommate sold all the rent money, and most of the furniture, for some crack and blow. Duncan is hurt by the guys actions but doesn't let it bring him down. After moving in Duncan quickly got a job as a waiter at the diner and gotten back into fighting, trying to flood in some extra cash.

Other: Works at Tory's diner part time, aspiring novelist, and occasionally enters in underground fighting rings... he's not very proud of that one.

It seems we are missing someone, if they don't show up in a day or two I will have to come up with something but to answer your question yes, we are almost ready.

Well my plan was to 1) Save random stranger. 2) Run away. 3)???. 4) Brothel friend. I wasn't planning on it being a big deal.
I'm here.

After finishing his drawing Virgil was left with nothing to do, he had gained the smells, he had drawn a picture, and all that was left to do was...socialize. Virgil hated that, talking to people. They always had something to say about one thing or another, not like the crocs. They were quiet, calming, and more importantly respectful. Humans don't really care about anyone but themselves, his "family" taught him that.

Not really wanting to start a conversation, Virgil continued to sit in his chair and relax. It wasn't a rock out in the swamps, but it was as good as he was going to get. With a dejected sigh, Virgil sunk himself deeper into the chair and waited until lunch.
