Nathan gave a little laugh when Jack said "Thank God, I won't have to deal with having to watch my back for betrayal." Raising his voice above the chatter, Nathan said "Ease it Jackie boy, ain't no one gonna stab you in the back here. Well, maybe Cora would but she's on our team." Relaxing back in his seat, Nathan gazed over his team. Linn and him where good, she taught him how to calm down a bit and he taught her how to fight... a little. Cora was a bit abrasive, but he respected her individuality. Plus she had a point about sticking out like a sore thumb. Next was Press, him and Nathan didn't really interact much if at all during training. However the guy was smart and did have some impressive toys. Finally Bruce, again not much interaction but Nathan liked the guy. He was cool in Nathans book.

Listening in on the plan, Nathan decided to put his two cents in, "Unfortunately, I can't do much besides look scary and punch people. Any time you need that done I'm your man." While he didn't want it to be true, Nathan wasn't the brightest bulb in the store. His skills were pointed more for chasing, punching, and intimidation rather than putting together the pieces of some grand puzzle. However he was resigned to that role and embraced it, why not fit the stereotype for "the big scary guy"? Either way, Nathan knew he would come in handy one way or another. Lots of heavy stuff in cities like these. Sitting at attention, Nathan began to listen to the rest of whatever plan that was in the works.
Gone for like an hour and I come back to this, dang. Also I finished the edits to the equipment, just ignore the gun for now.
I'm gonna add some equipment to Nathans CS.
On the Nathan problem, yes he does have the potential to become extremely powerful. However that power is tempered with drugs and the notion that his powers are highly destructive, unlike Nathans "nemesis" that will hopefully appear later in the rp. His powers are unfocused, like rage itself there isn't a sole thing that he can focus it on which makes most of his more powerful abilities more AoE than single target battles.

Plus the expenditure of said power causes massive bodily harm and will eventually kill him if he doesn't control it.
Short post is short but its what I could do this early in the morning. Plus I didn't really have much for Arios to do, so yeah. When this really starts my posts will be both better and longer.
The rites had been said and absolution was given, now Arios waited. Arios wasn't an officer and as such he wasn't apart of the discussion, he just waited for his orders. As he did, Arios began to give a maintenance check out of shear boredom. Arios knew they were better than working condition, but the monotony of waiting was a struggle of itself. It had been so long since he burned something. Turning some valves and giving his chainfist an experimental rev, Arios found everything satisfactory and began to play the waiting game yet again. Idly noticing what he assumed was the vanguard captain giving his men a rousing speech or some other.
Yup, see you guys tomorrow.
man it feels nice to get back into the swing of things.
Nathan gave an indifferent "Nice to see you too Margara" without any malice intended. He didn't have anything against her decision of not sitting next to him, being the Vessel of Rage did have its (many) drawbacks. Relaxing once again, Nathan's thoughts drifted back to the mission and an uneasy feeling wormed its way into his gut as his anxieties made themselves known. They were all the same. What if I hurt someone, what if I go too far, what if Alaska happened all over again? Letting his head fall back, Nathan let the anxieties run their course. Soon enough he got over it, packing them away until they inevitably popped up again.

At Jacks suggestion of not splitting up, Nathan said "I'd have no problem with splitting up, we'd be able to cover more ground that way." Either way, Nathan didn't care. Just as long as they got the target then he would call it a good day. However the itching in his scars would point to the opposite of a good day and no matter how much he willed it to be, the scars never lied. Hopefully they would for just this once. Pulling his mask up a bit, Nathan tilted his head back and water falled from the bottle he carried with him. When he was done, Nathan nudged Linn and asked if she wanted any. Nathan wasn't totally clear on how her power worked, maybe she needed water in her body to do her thing? Any way a little hydration never hurt anybody.
Maybe if he was at full strength, now it will be a challenge to just speak with others.
