Tetsu was slightly annoyed with the lack of maintenance that had been allowed to run rampant through his incubators. From the looks of it they would need not only new circuits but also a focusing crystal as the hologram began to flicker. Giving a grunt of disapproval, Tetsu began to tap at the computer and was satisfied to find that the kubrow would be nice and healthy. Only when Tetsu close the hologram did he notice that Aeris was talking to Khan. As she came up to him, Aeris asked about the Kubrows and why he began to breed them.

Now that was a question he hadn't put much thought too. Taking a moment to think it over, Tetsu pondered on the question deeply as he searched through any possible reason that would point him to his chosen hobby of sorts. After about a good 15 seconds of thought, Tetsu said "Yes the eggs are healthy, more so than I thought they would be given their speedy removal during the exodus." Tetsu released a tired sounding sigh as his tone became a little more serious, "At first I guess it was because I couldn't have children. Not only because my obligations to the order but also because I was sterile before becoming Tenno. It was a nice distraction and I actually enjoyed it, during that time I hatched Khan and he has been with me ever since." Pausing his talk for now, Tetsu debated on whether or not he should continue. If he did move on with this train of thought then it was about to get a little dark.

As Tetsu lost himself in his ruminations, Khan came over and sat himself at Tetsu before bumping his head into his leg encouragingly. Looking down and smiling at the Kubrow, Tetsu gave his head a rub and let loose another sigh, "Now I do it because its better than letting myself be consumed by my mistakes. Very few people know why I hate the Corpus so much, in fact Lady Samsara is the only person who currently knows. Master Shinto did, but he isn't with us now." Having Khan with him was Tetsu's only rock of support as he was about to go on the final leg of this story. Bucking up, Tetsu said "I've been with clan Prowler for a long time Aeris, I was right behind Lady Samsara when Master Shinto brought us together. Over that time I have gained many scars, both physical and mental. However none of them compared to the ones I gained from that facility."
They make us watch, every time they sell one of us they make us watch. Every...single...time. The rings began to glow as another one of us was cut down into segments to be sold. However I didn't flinch, there wasn't any point. I was next to be sold and I was already strung up and ready to sell. Then, she came... "Dr" Vashta'don. I remember her words perfectly, as her nails raked down my chest she said "Not this one...he hasn't broke like the others, I want him to BEG!". Unlike the others, I wasn't going to be sold as apparently she found me desirable and wanted me to herself. Her words were "Whats business without a little pleasure?" and from that ideal I was put into more tortures than you could imagine. She would opened me up, poke around in the insides, and then fix me back up for a round of pleasures of the flesh... hers more than mine. The worst was the screening room. Strapped into one of the display cases and be forced to watch... I'm still not sure what it was. It would claw into your mind, tearing it bit by bit until you were nothing but a sniveling child begging to be let out.

Most others could only last half an hour...I would be in for hours upon hours. My hatred for Vashta'don was what kept me sane, I knew that if I could just die without giving her the pleasure of hearing me scream than I would have won. However it didn't end like that, after awhile I stopped reacting and acted like a doll. When they said jump I jumped, when they said run I ran... the only thing I didn't do was scream. Eventually they stopped locking me up and that was when I made my move. At the end of it I left Vashta'don for last. With no where left to run she was all mine. I did to her everything she did to me and my brothers and sisters. I sold her, her parts were sent to some high ranking board member. Afterwards I took a Corpus ship and I flew to the nearest clan I could find.

Letting go of the console, noticing that he left a hand prints imprinted into the chassis Tetsu dragged them across his helmet and wished he could take it off. Cursing himself for his lack of self control, Tetsu said "That's why I don't take off the armor. I...I can't look at the scars, if I did then I would fall into the same pit of all consuming rage that controls the Valkyr." Looking at his hands, Tetsu saw that they were shaking...badly. Sensing this, Khan rubbed his head against his masters leg. Petting his head, Tetsu felt himself calm somewhat. Letting out a long, tired sigh Tetsu said "You know what, I think I'm going to be having that hangover after all."
@YoshiSkittles

I think as far as relationships go, Grendel is just going to be known to Regina as a "Monster that has been praying on the cattle". If anyone else wants to jump on that bandwagon then yeah.
Posted. Thank god.
The pain Forest felt was both immense and all encompassing. Creaking his eyes open, Forest dragged his head around and scanned the area. The bad man from last night was no where to be seen but his evidence of being here was still apparent. Straining his arms, Forest was dismayed to find that the strength that once filled him was gone and the burning was still there, even more so than when he first awoke. Giving a groan that sounded like a cross between a man in pain and wood straining to support the weight of a large stone. Thankfully Forest found he strength to stagger out of the whole that was made last night before collapsing again. Gazing into the puddle in front of him, Forest realized that he had lost a lot of his mass and he was grossly discolored.

Not daring to accept water this close to chemicals, Forest began shambling towards the one place that would have enough nutrients to bring him back to full strength. It was risky but he didn't have anywhere left to go, Forest had to go to the park. Ever since his first time in the city, Forest had avoided the place like root rot. The plants were mean, they would bite or grab at Forest and when he tried to gain nutrients from the soil a foreign voice invaded his mind. It promised acceptance, told him he was beautiful, and wanted him too join it. Ever since then he didn't want to return, it was hard enough to resist their lure when at full strength but it was a risk he was willing to take. Forest didn't want to go to the black place again. It took several hours and and many cases of screaming civilians but Forest finally made it to the park. Punching several grabby plants into submission, Forest took a deep breath before plunging his hands into the dirt and extending his roots far into the earth.

The relief was immediate as the nutrients flowed through his veins and gave strength to his tired limbs. However, soon his vision went to black and the stench of the swamps filled his mind. When Forest awoke again, he was underwater. The situation wasn't unpleasant as he didn't need to breath really, it was mostly just odd. Slowly, he rose from his position from the swamp floor and made his way to shallower water. Forest was a little unnerved by the whole situation, especially since he couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. The swamp seemed to never end and everything looked the same, as if he was walking in circles. Forest was about to give up when he heard it, a giggle from behind. Quickly, Forest turned and tried to get a glimpse at what had made the noise but failed as it happened again from behind him.

Forest was about to get angry when the owner of the voice made itself, or rather herself known. Now Forest got angry, it was none other than the green lady. With a low growl, Forest got into a combat stance and pounced. With his fists, Forest smashed the ground where the green lady stood as she had disappeared. Turning his head, Forest discovered that she was everywhere. There were hundreds of her and they sounded angry. Eerily, they all attacked an mass completely quietly. Roaring, Forest began to punch and smash left and right but they just kept coming. Eventually they began to overwhelm Forest and get through his defenses.

Angrily, Forest said "You will NOT have me!" as he surged with strength and created an explosion of flying bodies. However soon after, Forest blacked out and came to holding a car over his head as people looked on in horror. As Forest looked on, realization fled into his being as a foreign voice entered his head and sounded exactly like the green lady. It said "I don't need to get you Forest...your already mine. as it laughed into oblivion.
Ok guys, since we are about to move I've been pretty strapped for time but I'm working on a post as we speak.
Pfft, mamalukes. Funny sounding word.
Whats up with the "Deceased Characters"? Did people bow out?

I meant to ask you...did you want grendel to have any kind of past relationships with our characters from the enchanted forest? maybe a deal with rumpel? or a prisoner of the queen? whatever you can think of really, we are a very open group willing to work around stuff to make things work.

If we can I'm just going to leave him as a vague beast from legends past. If or when we start to role play back in the enchanted forest then I will introduce Grendel to the story. At the most I would say either a prisoner or a "monster" from the woods that the kingdom is having trouble killing. Also made Grendel's size less vague.
Hey guys, I'm sorry to say this but I'm just not really enjoying this RP like I thought I would. With everything happening IRL stacked on top of that I'm going to have to back out, sorry for wasting everyone's time and messing up the teams. Do with Conrad what you will.
Made some edits to Garrets relationships as to make him less of a recluse.
