@Emuxe The best part is that I made him purely out of spite because I wanted to go into another Magical Girl roleplay as him but they only wanted girls so no dice. Plus being fresh off of Stardust Crusaders naturally lead me to Jojo for inspiration.
A lot of this is placeholder or subject to change since I keep getting hit with writer's block as soon as I think I have something. It's also like three in the morning.
Nathaniel Sky // Love Tap
Age: 18
Hero Rank: A Class, Rank 36
Appearance: A fairly tall man with lean, toned muscles. "Pretty Boy" would be an apt description for Nathan as he puts just about the same effort in presenting himself as he does training. Nathan stands at six foot four and weighs one hundred eighty pounds.
Personality: The embodiment of youthful energy, Nathan is always ready for a scrap
Brief History:
Fairy Connection: [placeholder: Fairies are symbiotic creatures that bond with young adult women to give them magical powers and fight evil... it's just that Nathan's fairy, Aianrabu, got drunk before she decided to bond and thought he was a lady]
Suit Up: A ritual involving lots of lights, slight nudity, and an overabundance of heart shaped flower petals summons Nathan's combat regalia. Extremely revealing, very frilly, and incredibly powerful.
Strength: The suit allows Nathan, or Love Tap, to go two to two with all but the strongest Heroes.
Durability: Just as he's able to contend with the strongest, he's able to take an equal amount of punishment.
Speed: Not your average super speed, Love Taps reflexes are extremely quick and his fists are able to fly out with blinding speed. Though in a foot race he's not going to outdo dedicated speedsters.
Heart Power: The magic behind the man. All of Nathan's abilities are fueled by his desire to fight evil, his wish to protect the innocent, and his determination to finish a fight worth winning. In addition he is able to establish "Bonds", a metaphysical connection with another sentient being that links Love Tap and them together. Bonds allow Love Tap be empowered by that person's own determination, desire for justice, and fighting spirit however Love Tap must have a strong, positive relationship with the potential person. Theoretically with enough bonds and motivation, Love Tap's power could be limitless.
Skills: Lookin Pretty: Nathan can make it work with even the most basic of makeup and clothes.
Cooking: Not having much to work with growing up forced Nathan to either cook well, or eat nasty food forever. He opted for the former over the latter.
First Aid: Not a certified nurse or anything, but he can stop your death in an emergency... probably.
Possible Goals?: Find others like him, fight monsters, and to not become homeless once again
@Pathfinder Also, since alaska is pretty cut off from the lower 48 would they use the same terminology for Super Mutants, Deathclaws, Ghouls, and Yao-Guai or should we keep it for simplicities sake?
Also I got some ideas for other creatures if you'd want to hear them.
@Ktyhrea One thing we know is that The Enclave did a bunch of stuff with FEV in the beginning, so I don't think it would be too out of the question for them to create a new strain up in Alaska. Here are some ideas I got.
As we know, East coast muties aren't the smartest bunch of crayons but they are still able to repair guns, craft armor, and organize themselves into an effective army. Maybe this strain was formed with guerilla warfare in mind. They just naturally have a head for not only plain survival in harsh environs, but also just kinda know how to craft simple tools and weapons, like super mutant sized bows and spears. Not only that but they are much more observant than you'd give them credit for. I dunno, seems neat to me.
To go with that guerrilla warfare bent I was spinning, maybe these guys are a lot more quiet than their southern counterparts. Like they don't yell all that much and just generally carry themselves a lot quieter.
Dark, almost black, skin and a good amount of insulating fat.
Powerful jaws and more predatory teeth for chewing through tough meat.
Lots of Yau-Guai fur, with Deathclaw fur being a status symbol among their ranks.
Generally more tribal than militant raiders? I dunno, maybe some superstitions
Kind of a middle ground in terms of the two coasts, stronger Mariposa mutants, smarter than Vault 87 mutants, but not beating neither in their individual strengths... that make sense?
@Ktyhrea Yo, a Fallout game in my hometown? I'm definitely in. Think I might swoop up one of those super mutant slots, maybe Providence since they have that whole "Science Thing" going for them... I dunno, we'll see. You mention the Vault 87 and Mariposa mutants but you didn't mention if there were anything new with these "Northern Mutants", if there are any differences.
