To be fair, both of your names are rather uninspired :P

I will say the Eight Coalition is less generic than 'the Allies', but both are still ripped from history.
So many shots fired in this thread.
@Evan: I did. I linked to here in two of the interest-checks, and in our group PM.

@oZode: Nah. Plenty of room left.
That's the point. I'm okay with having an ocean planet because no one can settle it anyway. So at best, nations could have research outposts on them.

EDIT: I'm talking about a planet elsewhere in the system. Not turning Brahma into an ocean planet.

I feel like an Ocean planet would be nice, though, hell, we could always design its life to be rather early in development compared to us. Stuff more along the lines of Cambrian-Silurian life, if you will.Aside from that, though, I do have a quick question regarding Artificial Intelligence/Robotics. Considering the shortage of manpower we're dealing with, I was going to have my nation make extensive use of both AI and robots. Namely, artificial intelligence would fill in the holes left by a shortage of scientists and administrators, whereas more basic robots would fill in the holes in manual labour and as footsoldiers. Would that kind of thing be allowed?

I think that'd be fine. Just don't go overboard.

As for an ocean planet: I will definitely talk to the other Precipricks. If we do it, it has to be a planet where only very small outposts can be built. That way no one can, like.. settle there or something, since we have to keep the focus on Brahma. But it would be nice to be able to explore the underwater life of a planet like that.
No one said anything, so I was starting ton think they were going unappreciated. Nice to see someone likes them! They are fun to make, especially considering there is no pressure in regards to how well they are drawn. As someone with zero artistic skill, it's nice to be able to draw something without worrying about it being a masterpiece.

Rare: Nice one!

Anyhow, any life on worlds in this system outside brahma or is it just rock, gas and dirt?

Probably not much beyond microbial life, unless we agree to have an ocean planet or something. But definitively no Earth-like planets. We can settle this as we go though. I don't want to pay too much mind to it right now. I can hardly keep up with all the questions and apps.
As an outsider with no real knowledge of what's happening beyond that there is a war and you guys like to fight a lot: I have to say my virtual, imaginary money is on the Prussian side. For two reasons, mainly. One, Prussia's history of ass-kicking in war is well-known. Two, Russia. They have a lot of people to throw at the opposing side.

Austria's side does have the UK, though, which means they own the seas. Greece is especially fucked given how the Ottomans and Austrians probably own the Mediterranean and definitely the Adriatic (unless the Italians can match them, which I doubt). Not to mention whatever support the UK can lend.

It's actually a pretty even match, to be honest. But Russia's population is TOO DAMN HIGH.
I for one am creating an NPC bat-people protectorate that my guys will work closely with. I am open to the idea of people playing bat-men, too.
