And then we would be best buds :D

Best friends don't let their BFF inherit a war in Vietnam.
I feel it should be credits for simplicity. No need to make money anything fancier than that.
It's a mutual protection treaty, basically. It states that, if a country from outside South America attacks them, they are obligated to help each other against it. But it draws the distinction that this only applies to foreign (as in, from outside of South America) aggressors.

In addition, it's a general agreement to assist one another and help each other grow and prosper.

Then they're like "If you are South American, you can join.", and state that they will hold biannual meetings.

In short, it's like a South American NATO, but with a slight economical aspect to it.
Queen: As Gorgenmast said, feel free to create your own.

And to the rest of you, consider Gorgenmast, Vilage and Aaron co-GMs. If you ask a question and they get to it first, they've probably given you the right answer. We made this RP together so we all have more or less the same idea in mind. They're also pretty knowledgeable dudes.

I need to do some catching up now.

@Sovi3t: I.. don't think we have anything written down and set in stone.
@Pasta: To be honest, I don't think I said anything that should incite further argument. If it does, that's on whoever feels the need to escalate it. All I did was state my opinion, respectfully. I do think some things have to be said (without being an ass about it). Otherwise what you get is a bunch of people covering their ears whenever someone tells them they've done something wrong, and then nothing ever gets amended.
Probably a little late, but...

I'm going to agree with Nex and Narco (to some extent). I think too many of you are brushing illogical things aside because "it's just a game". And I agree, it's just a game. But I'm pretty sure even the rules state you must be somewhat realistic. I don't think anyone here is expected to never do something ahistorical and questionable, but if it's crazy enough that people are doing double-takes, wondering if they read that right, you're probably way beyond the boundaries of what should be acceptable.

When you do weird, unrealistic shit for your own benefit, it comes off as you trying to save your ass through illogical means. Which in turns makes people feel like you're just trying to win the game. Which is another one of those things Outcast has stated you shouldn't be trying to do.

If you're in a bad position and there is no realistic way to get out of it, do what Outcast's signature says and accept defeat. Don't look for an unrealistic way out of it to save yourself.

Just my two cents.

Do tell. I really do have to sleep, but I'm interested.

The Baratheons have Targaryen blood going back to Orys, the founder/conqueror of House Baratheon. Orys was Aegon's half-brother (and a bastard). Robert had a closer link though. His father, Steffon, was King Aerys' cousin. And Steffon's mother was Rhaelle Targaryen.

Oh, he's the King from the Song of Fire and Ice novels by George R.R. Martin. He had absolutely no legitimate claim to the throne, but he was so charismatic, handsome, and skilled in fighting, that he was able to lead a successful rebellion against the Mad King, and take the throne. He turned out to be a very poor leader, as good soldiers rarely make good kings, but take the throne he did.

Because I'm a nerd and feel obligated to point it out: He did have Targaryen blood. So technically, he had some claim, just not the most legitimate.
