I will split France In half, south France and north France.

... Are you serious?
There is nothing left in Europe. Which sucks because that's where I'd like to be. Unless someone carves up a new nation by the time I can join, I think (assuming Emmy really is gone) Romania will be the only nation left to choose from. I mean, there is Switzerland, but who wants to play a nation that is constitutionally forbidden from declaring war on anyone? That's where half the fun comes from.
You bastard.
I'm not sure Bavaria will be around by the time I get in, but that's what I'm planning on joining as. Though it's starting to look like Bavaria is pretty much fucked, since pretty soon Prussia will probably achieve complete hegemony over all the German states.

Depends on what nations are open. If this game is too full/too clustered I could always talk to Outcast about having a second WiR running for those who can't get into this one. But before we jump that far ahead let us just see what nations may/will be open to new players soon.

You can check in the OP. I think it's a pretty accurate list even now. The only place in Europe I can think of that isn't open anymore is Belgium. Maybe elsewhere in the world has seen more extreme changes, but I can't imagine it's that different from how it was at the start of the RP.

The waiting list is three-people long, with most (with the exception of Emmy) current players being active. I'm not sure if that would be considered 'too full/too clustered' though. Either way, I'd love another WiR.
Ulysses laying the law on some filthy rebel scum.
Play Portugal and teach your little brat, Brazil, some manners.
Maybe not exactly like Diplomacy, since I don't see it working in a text-style roleplay, but nation roleplays with some kind of system in place for determining the outcome of actions seem to be popular around here.

HOW DO YOU SETTLE WHETHER A BATTLE IS WON OR LOST? Let's say you have two players, both of whom want to win a battle. How do you determine who wins?

HOW DO YOU SET CAPSLOCK OFF?

Unless the GM has a system set up, I imagine it would come down to accepting when you've lost. If you're "wanting to win", you're doing it wrong. You should be wanting to tell a good story, not win them all. If you feel a battle is lost, you accept it.
