A nation like Spain can easily avoid WWI. In fact, I'm pretty sure they did in RL.

Not sure about the German Empire. It's a lot of responsibility, but I'd take it if no one else did.

I don't think anyone here is douchey enough to try to take a nation you've repeatedly said you're interested in taking. That said, I'm thinking Austria. I might end up going with something else, but if there is one nation I want to reserve for now, it's Austria.
