I was just disappointed you were leaving for such a dumb reason. I'm sorry if anything I said came off as anything more than disappointment. I don't think you should quit for losing a war, or "because you are letting your OOC feelings get in the way". You don't need to quit to amend either of those. The former stops being a problem the moment you accept defeat and move on. Tell yourself "I'll get them next time." and be done with it. The latter is fixed with a simple attitude adjustment (on both sides, to be honest).

People betrayed each other all the damn time back then. Nations were friends for as long as they could benefit.

Honestly, this just sounds like an excuse to not end it.

And why would you force someone to go on with a war that you have admitted you have no reason to be fighting? If they see that, and want to end it, they ought to be able to.

If you are okay with losing a war, and it's the OOC that bothers you, then can you please make peace in IC? You've admitted now that the reason you are keeping the war going is because of OOC rivalry. Which means that ICly you have no legitimate reason to continue it. So can you please not leave us with this mess?

Why do you get into wars if the concept of defeat is unacceptable to you? Seems to me like, if you aren't ready to lose a war, you probably shouldn't join one.

You were given a lot of chances to end the war with treaties that had (at least according to Nexerus) almost no negative effect on you. That might even still be the case now. But because you're not having your way, you're quitting? Come on, man. It's just a game.

It sucks that you're leaving. Personally I think you should just deal with it and not let it get to you personally. But if you feel that strongly about it, no-one can stop you.

So everyone knows: Outcast has ruled in favor of Austria's declaration of war (he still has some concerns, but he's allowing it) in a PM. This means that Austria is pretty much now at war with the Allies.
