I still have negative income too, but at least it's much better now. My treasury got a bunch of dough from my order(s) too, which is great. Brazil ain't doing too bad though. If you focus on improving it you can definitely turn things around. It helps that you're in a place where not much happens, so you're safe to just huddle down and focus on growth.
I think I'm getting the hang of this order stuff. These next orders I'm writing up feel a lot better already. I think I needed to see how the first update went to really understand how things are going to be done.

Yo Dutch, if it's not a bother, could you give some brief rundowns on what certain stats do? Education, for example. In Outcast's WiR, he said it affected military success, but that he was planning on making the stat more meaningful in future WiR's. I'm wondering if it works similarly here. I also wouldn't mind knowing what infrastructure does, and agriculture, among other things. I can imagine what some of them do just from using common sense, but I've been wrong before.
Anyone who's played a lot of WiR could answer too, I guess.
