I am in the process of making a sheet. I'm claiming the same area I was before, since it's the last one remaining and the one I wanted anyway.

EDIT: Goddamn it. I decided to read through the sheets to make sure no one had the same specialties and weapons, and what do you know?

House Cragmore prides itself on one ancestral weapon, but two. Tempest and Rainclad (More commonly known as The Sword and Shield of Darmull Cragmore) were used by House Cragmore's founder in the Wyrm War. It is said that Darmull defeated a number of wyrms during the war by using Tempest and Rainclad to conjure great storms, that would then force the Wyrms from the sky. Although any Cragmore who wields both has this power, Kenten Cragmore lost the sword Tempest in a wager with Lord Conrad years ago.

What I had written for my ancestral weapon:
House Ancestral Weapon: Stormbringer. A halberd capable of creating storms. The weapon is credited with the deaths of four dragons during the war. It is said to have brought dragons down with a barrage of lightning bolts that tore their wings apart and sent them crashing to the ground. Stormbringer has been carried into battle by every Thunderlord since, and every army lead by one has been called a 'Storm March' for the storms that accompany them as a result of the weapon's power.

Almost identical word by word. Excuse me while I go cry.
Cool, thanks.

So there you have it folks; we're still technically afloat. So if you can, liven up the IC with some posts.
Just to be sure: Is the update still scheduled for Saturday? I've noticed everything has slowed down ever since it was announced Dutch may not be able to continue, and I'm worried people have already given up on this. If the update is still on schedule and the RP is still technically running, then everyone should post and continue as normal. If we're on hold, then maybe we should work on transferring power over to someone willing and able to take over. I don't want us to just sit here and let the RP die without taking any kind of action to see it live on.

I apologize if I come off as impatient or anything of the like. It'd just suck to see the RP flop dead.

That said, those of you involved in the Boxer Protocol PM should reply to the new proposition by Haresus.
Hey guys, how's it been?

I tuned out for a while. I noticed some characters died (oh no!). I hope they died heroically. Anyway, I may still be interested in joining this. If I find the time and inspiration, I'll write up a character.

Why 1814? It doesn't make sense and its pointless to make the timeline.

How is it pointless? There is a ton of important stuff happening at around that time of history.

I say do a 1920 WiR. Plus, I know no other country besides Brazil and the major counries, which is un fair to me

Do research. We shouldn't have to make decisions based around how accommodating they are to you. No offense, but it's up to you to either do research, or not play.

Anyway, I am okay with either of the proposed start dates. 1800 and 1814 are both good choices. But again, I'd really like it if we just continued 1900.
I'm interested.
ab, mag

pls respnd
If you are worried about the book/show setting not being very accommodating, you could always have it take place before Aegon's Landing. I believe that timeline is very much a blank slate up until Aegon comes along. The families back then were different too (Hoare, Gardener, Durrandon).

Another possible setting could be during the Targaryen civil war (the Dance of the Dragons). Players could choose a side to support. The only problem I see is that show-watchers would be unfamiliar with the setting.
I'd honestly just like to start a WiR and actually finish it. So far I've had no luck.
