If Ab and Mag are going with the 20-player limit that is common with WiR, then you may be able to join. But you'll probably have to settle for whatever is left. There are still some decent choices, and I think you can choose countries that aren't listed. But it's up to Ab and Mag. I don't know if they're going with the 20-player limit or if they're toning it down a bit. We have eighteen players currently.

Look up interesting plans Brazilians had at around the time and try to make them happen. I'm sure someone had a crazy plan. While doing research for Austria in 1900, I found this crazy plan some dude had to build a canal from Trieste to Vienna. Turns out the plan wasn't really do-able, but I'm sure there's plenty of crazy shit people have planned throughout history that may have been possible but never received enough support or funding to be done. So try to find stuff for Brazil and make it happen. Brazil has a lot of underdeveloped land, and therefore a lot of potential.

These usually allow up to a max of twenty players, from what I have seen. We only have seventeen. It's up to Ab and Mag, and maybe they are doing things differently, but if it's following the same setup then there will likely be space for three more people once the RP starts.
I think there are still three spots left, though. You can probably still join, just not claim a nation beforehand.
