Yeah, that's true. Still, I think it's worth marking "borders" for the sake of helping people make their claims. And even if the environment means that most people will be in the cities, there is likely still an area these cities consider "theirs" and enforce their jurisdiction in. I think the more important thing to emphasize and remember is that just because you are laying claim to an area doesn't mean it's highly populated or secured, since the environment is harsh and uninhabitable. Nations like Azar might be the exception because they are on fertile ground and have the numbers to populate and secure their territory.
Feel free to edit the map to match what you're visualizing. If not, I'll go ahead and expand Azari claims further east down the river the next time I update the map, which should be whenever the other sheets are accepted, and/or when I get around to marking my own claim.
I had made a map as well that showed the extent of the Dominion, which flagg had approved what I had done with it, some were using that one as a base

Yeah, but you painted half the map grey to show the Dominion's mutual defense pact, which isn't really pertinent to your borders. And it gave half the map a grey filter, which I thought looked really intrusive.

But again, the map I made isn't official. I made it because I was bored and no one was bothering to mark their nations.
Disclaimer: Not official political map.

Did some guesswork 'cause no one else is doing it. I went based on people's description of their geographic features. I had to do some strong guesswork for Osmuli because none of the geographic features Chairman Stein listed were labelled on the map, so I just found an unlabeled desert mountain next to a river like he described, and put him there.

Green is Drathan Union.
Red is Farai
Light green is Raptor's nation
Lilac is Osmuli
Beige is Azar

EDIT: I also took the liberty of drawing a big mountain in for Raptor.

EDIT2: Gave Osmuli the rest of the lake because why not.
Pretty sure the West Canadians, who were independent, were moving in an Atlantic fleet to get involved in that battle.
Kinda weird that Zhodule is basically an enclave within your territory, but if that's what you guys are agreeing to... Generally city-states aren't literally just one city, but a city that is powerful enough to exert its influence far from it. Venice was a city-state, but it wasn't inside anyone's territory. It held its own territory stretching from Venice to Greece. A city-state inside someone else's territory is arguably not a city-state at all, but like.. some sort of autonomous district or something.
When you tell Flagg your sheet is done.
I think people should take the time to map their nations using the maps in the OP. Right now we're just sort of guessing where everyone is.
Can we get a quick list of what has been covered so far in terms of faction themes? I'm having a lot of trouble settling for something I'm happy with and think will keep me interested (ADHD is a bitch). I'm thinking I might rethink my faction altogether, while still keeping some of the elements I thought of (and the geography, 'cause I'd hate to be like "Herp, can you completely change my little corner of the map?").

It looks like we're covering the following:

- A Magocracy (I wish I had thought to do this one first; it's an awesome concept I've always liked.)
- A college of isolated nerds (huehue)
- A straight-up merchant city
- What may be the opposite of a Magocracy

There's a few others but I think I'd rather get a one (or few) line breakdown of the themes from the players themselves (even for the ones mentioned above), since some of the details that define them may not even be revealed in the sheets themselves.

EDIT: Reason is so I can avoid doing a repeat of someone else's idea.
This looks good and I really appreciate the effort put into it. Most NRPs here don't have this level of presentation. I'm tentatively interested but I have another RP I'm trying to make time for. Still, good luck.
