Nemesis: Star Wars meets Hunt for Red October

I'll leave this pathetically unfinished sheet here just to call dibs on a stealth frigate. I have most of the sheet already thought out roughly, I just gotta get around to writing it. And also I want some stuff clarified first, that I'll bug Googer about over Steam. Also because I made it while bored, here is what my ship looks like from a bird's eye view, roughly. It's not supposed to be a perfect representation, but it gets the idea across.

Marathon

Armament Loadout:

The main armament on the Marathon is its massive railgun, which runs the length of the ship in a way that makes the vessel look as though it is a giant rail rifle.

- Two Danio dropships, designed to carry 12 personnel or loads of 1.25 tons.
- One Jotnar Combat Exosuit, a mechanized armor suit capable of operating in most atmospheres as well as space.

Overview:

The Marathon is designed for stealth. Its overall shape is meant to hide as much of its signature as possible. Equipped with a reverse-engineered Vorqhul stealth drive capable of generating a magnetic field that causes incoming radio waves to bend around the ship, the Marathon is a state-of-the-art spy vessel. Although highly advanced, the stealth drive is largely experimental and prone to partial failure. For this reason, the Marathon is designed with a slick surface and sharp, angular edges meant to throw off any residual waves.

In combat, the Marathon operates in a similar way to planet-borne submarines; it remains undetected and strikes by surprise using its primary armament - a massive railgun running the length of the ship. A product borne of desperation in the final years of the Human-Vorqhul War, the railgun is big enough to pierce the hull of any human warship and, theoretically, Vorqhul vessels as well. The latter was never tested in combat as the war came to an end before any Argus-class vessels were deployed, so the effectiveness of the railgun against modern Vorqhul ships remains inconclusive.

The massive gun gives the Marathon the appearance of a giant rail rifle, with two massive, parallel conductors making up half of the ship.

As the fourth, and latest ship in the Argus-class, the Marathon has not seen much combat. Far from a seasoned ship, it has only seen sporadic, small-scale action against insurrectionists in the outer colonies. Of worthy note, was its participation in the blockade of Terminus, where it assisted in effectively quarantining the planet by using its advanced sensors to provide intelligence on rebel ships attempting to circumvent the blockade. More recently, the Marathon has been deployed to the edges of the Mutual Exclusion Zone, where it used its sensors to enforce the treaty signed by Humans and Vorqhul at the end of the war. The Marathon was also present at Nuevo Arauco, where it reported the inaction and seeming desertion of the Nemesis.

It's hard catching you on Steam nowadays so I'll ask here: What kind of government does humanity have? Is it the usual United Nations-like democracy, or is it more of a military government? Given the war with the Vorqhul, maybe the remnants of an emergency military government that just sort of stuck? It could be the reason for insurrection - people are upset that the military hasn't relinquished all power.

I may be interested, but I would prefer if the world-building aspect was free-form and just sort of done as we go, as opposed to having something like a piratepad. People tend to get too distracted when the latter is done. If I do join it will likely be as something relatively small.

I don't have a good PC so I guess I'll just feel shitty about myself. I wonder why these kinds of games don't come out for consoles. They don't look like the kind of game consoles can't run. Oh well.
