How come some of the roleplays listed in 'Current and Cool' have zero IC posts? Doesn't that go against the category's description?

Roleplays on this list have already started (but may still be recruiting, please consult the GM) and also caught our attention; the hard work the GM and players put in to setting up the RP, writing their sheets and hashing out the details have paid off and now they're writing their in-character (IC) posts.

Just wondering.
Goddamn, the Tavor is sexy.
I've been trying to post but my sleeping schedule is all over the damn place. It's something I still have to post about, but in Germany racism is a big thing, and the whole 'German superiority' stuff remains. it might not be right in your face like it was with RL Nazi Germany, but anyone traveling through Prussia would see it. Like, Jews are still targeted. And in the military, there's a bit of a perception that other nation's soldiers are inferior, not just in terms of training, but even just because they're not German. Prussia is also, in general, very old-school. But that's because I personally like old school stuff.
I look forward to it. Hopefully you'll stick around. We've had a few new players join us but they all seem to disappear within the week.

Didn't you depose the Danish left-leaning government or something?

That's not canon.

India got #rekd by Persia, right?

I never understood much of what was happening there, but my understanding is that Persia and China were fighting over it.

I've been skimming through this RP for a couple of days now to get a feel for it, and I must say that it looks like something I could certainly get into. I've been doing NRPs for two years now, but they've all been Fallout-based on the Bethesda Forums, so excuse me if I seem a little bit lost for a while. Anyway, I was thinking of taking the helm of one of the smaller European countries, like Denmark or the Netherlands, and was wondering what lore/history is attached to those two nations or if there is another similar nation which could use a RPer. Alternatively, if it isn't under too much foreign influence, India would be an interesting nation to RP within as well.I had also toyed with the idea of RPing either a more modern version of the Great Mongol State under a Buddhist ecclesiocracy or the Tibetan Government In-Exile until I realized that neither is possible in this setting... thanks to China (waves fists).

China has meddled with both India and Mongolia, but I think only Mongolia can be considered heavily influenced/under Chinese control. As for Denmark and Netherlands, both are open and without established lore.
Goddamn Evan, get on Steam so we can sensationalize the situation in Ukraine together.
Duck is dropping Serbia, therefore it is now open to new players.

Pepperm1nts: where is serbia
Great Leader Duck: Real Life destroyed it
Pepperm1nts: Are you out, then?
Great Leader Duck: Sorta of
Great Leader Duck: Real Life kinda of got in the way of shit
Great Leader Duck: So
Great Leader Duck: Im going to wait for my final test of the year to finish up then I will try to hop back in
Great Leader Duck: In the meantime Serbia is open for anyone who wants it

Though I might keep some of the stuff he did about Serbia wanting to form a new Yugoslavia, for convenience purposes.

Likewise, I think we should open Hungary to new players unless Rare shows up soon.

It's pretty hard to argue against vaccines when they've virtually eradicated a bunch of terrible diseases. Pretty much all those horror stories you hear about them from people is because they heard something on the internet that turned out being fake. The fact there's a measles outbreak in Western Canada this year after it was virtually non-existent for decades should be a pretty good indication of how ridiculous it is to ignore such an easy, painless medical practice because you're more afraid of something that's likely a crock of shit somebody fabricated over a serious illness that's entirely preventable. Isn't that a little strange and screwed up that people are more inclined to believe rumours over hard facts? Seriously. Vaccinate your damn kids. If they get brutally ill because you'd rather trust some sensationalist garbage over solid medical advice and practices that have been safely used for decades, you're a selfish idiot who should have never bred because you clearly aren't a responsible human being.

This, really.

There isn't much else that can be said. People who don't vaccinate their kids, or themselves, are morons. And if you're dumb enough to believe the bullshit you hear about vaccines, while ignoring the facts being laid before you by trained, educated medical professionals, you might just deserve to catch some fucking disease and die. Yeah, that's a bit blunt. But some people are infuriatingly stupid. It's especially bad when these morons are breeding and refusing to vaccinate their children, putting their lives in danger. Or worse, passing down their moronic views to their kids, who then end up afraid of vaccines themselves.
I don't think anyone here really plans anything. I think most of us have very rough "plans", but nothing down to the details. Just like, an idea of where we want to take things. So, I can't really talk considering I still haven't posted myself, but you shouldn't really be planning that hard. I mean, if you want, you can. But over-planning stuff isn't necessarily the way to do things right or whatever. If you start to plan things out too much, you might just end up tiring yourself out. It might be better to just have fun with whatever you're doing. Be what GRRM calls a "gardener". Plant a few seeds and then just roll with whatever sprouts from them, doing things in a more reactionary fashion as you go, instead of laying every detail down like an "architect".
