Backstory: Probably one of the most powerful magicians ever born, Albert Constantine had troubles in life ever since his birth, being son of Zatanna Zatara, a homo magis and John Constantine, the Hellblazer. Chased constantly by magicians, demons, angels and all sort of enemies to both his mother and father who could make him a hostage. In order to stop that, his father sealed his magic nature for a while, and erased Albert's memmory about any of his little tricks. The boy however had constant nightmares about that.
Everything seemed fine, the boy was able to live a fairly normal life, his parents managed to hide their true faces from the boy, for Albert, they were just another happy family, until that day came...At the age of 15, at a new school, a demon strong enough to notice the boy's heritage showed up before him, in order to take the boy, upon the contact, all his memmories instantly came back, and the seal was undone, the result was an unstable magic being, son of one of the most powerful magicians and one of the most powerful sorcerers with all of his powers without any sort of control, the result was a school reduced to ashes.
After that episode, his parents decided that it was time to sit, talk and teach their kid his way in the magic arts, he had no option so he gladly did it and remained studying magic from his 15 to his 19 years old, he was a fast learner, a prodigy, could be one of the most powerful magicians...if he didn't inherit some traits his father's personality...
He left home, started using his magic to his own will and pleasure, and acts according to his moral, even if most times he takes the "hero route", Albert is only likely to act according to his own moral code and doesn't see anything bad about using his synchronicity ability to manipulate his luck in gambling.
