I am an active member of the community on the RWBY wikia forum, and in my time there I began to devise an alternate universe. the largest differences between the cannon and my AU are thus:

The White Fang:
An extremely millitant and xenophobc white fang lieutenant defected, taking with him most of the aggressive members of the organization and forming a group known as World Tree, the core white fang are as a result much less violent, however they still went darkside, merely less so. World Tree was mostly wiped out by a rogue element within their own ranks, leaving only the leadership alive. they are the first villains in my fan-fiction and will not be included, I mention the group only because of what it means for the white fang, who instead of being active-aggressive and commit wide spread acts of terror are passive-aggressive and perform only guerrilla warfare with minimal casualties.

Grimm:
1)ancestral:A group of 3 extremely ancient Grimm exist, known as Ziz, Behemoth, and Leviathan, these 3 are sleeping and have been for millennia, the premise of my story is that they are beginning to awaken, bringing with them:
2) Dhampir, a humanoid species of Grimm long thought extinct, they are highly intelligent and cunning (though not capable of communicating with humans) and due to their small size and intelligence are known to only a few hunters who have dedicated themselves to eliminating them whenever they appear.

The man in Silver: A mysterious entity who wears a full body suit of silver armor, his name and origin are unknown (except to me and a few others from the community I spend most of my time in) his purpose is simple: he is intervening now for the first time in thousands of years to force humanity into action, preparing champions of mankind who will lead the war when the ancestral grimm awaken. he is actually the source of the changes in the white fang, having planted the seeds of doubt that led to the split in order to help prepare one of the several champions he has chosen (based on some criteria that have yet to disclose to ANYONE. that particular champion is the mian character of my fanfic)

anyways, this roleplay will be following a team of these future heroes, controlled by 4 independant RP-ers. I will be acting as GM controlling the villains, which Grimm attacks who when in the field for any reason, and so on (as well as a few of my own student characters, 2 teams of them to be precise. but they will be secondary in this story).
all of your characters will be Beacon students, 1 year BELOW teams RWBY and JNPR (who will be excluded from the RP in all forms)
I'll put together a list of things that will be required for me to accept a character if I get enough interest to go through with this.

I don't actually have a favorite character(although the closest to favorite would be either Nora or Ozpin). rather, I love the world and premise, the story is just a bonus.
unfortunately, with the confirmation that V3 will NOT be premiering at RTX, I am looking for more ways to enjoy the world during the season gap.
my previous 2 times here I left of my own volition, the first was to give myself a clean slate after some rather... inappropriate behavior, i left to give myself time to mature a bit. the second run my interest faded over time as I had less and less time to actually roleplay.

Let me start off by saying this: I've been gone a really long time, and should you recognize me, don't feel bad if I go 'who the hell are you?'
alright, I used to frequent this forum, and I was pretty terrible at the character creating thing (so many cliche ridden and marty stu characters you don't even know), but in my time away I have improved tremendously (in fact I'm currently writing a RWBY fanfic that follows my original characters in my own AU)

I mostly like RWBY, in fact I'm a bit obsessed, and am a frequent (read constant) visitor of the RWBY wikia forums (but not the fannon, I have my reasons)
