My character Zal uses what is effectively a partial exoskeleton outfitted with pneumatic shears, cargo hooks, clamps, claws, and so on that was designed for salvage work and later weaponized.
that reminds me, I really do need to modify Kanika's weapons with a dust infused melee attack to complement the lightning infused bullets.

I'm fine with speculation, but I prefer not to declare it as fact. useful though it may be as a reference, we've got word of got that dust exists in 4 basic types, not 8, thus nullifying most of that particular theory.

there's a metric fuckton of dust types, it's more a matter of what's been shown.
the 4 natural varieties (fire, wind, lightning, ice) can apparently be combines in a massive number of ways to create different types.
