Current Today I reached the conclusion that, if presented with an exact duplicate of herself, one of my characters would DEFINITELY hit that.

They're not LONG chapters; but the fact I've managed to right 2 meh and 4 half decent ones in 4 days makes me very happy with myself.

I've been thinking, the thing I came up with for Solace's armor, having it tuned to his Divinare by the forging process, perhaps you could call that 'infusion' where an item can be magically linked to a persons soul, allowing them to do things like always know its location, or in the case of a weapon, it allows would allow the item to draw from the persons own Divinare to repair itself, like with his sword.
indeed
DAM is damage, damage per individual hit. DPS is damage per second, based on how many times a weapon or technique can hit in 1 second. in a weapon like a sword, the DAM and DPS will be about the same and in the medium-low range, while a hammer has massive DAM but terrible DPS, and a gun has low DAM but high DPS.
Tamn seems optimized for high DAM low DPS, as she lands one or two solid hits and retreats. definitely not brutally efficient, brutlly efficient is going for one single, guaranteed killshot, even if it's messy and causes them to be injured, which requires absolutelt horrible DPS and DAM just as high s DPS is low
Sweetness
What if I say he forged the armor himself, infusing his own Divinare into it and permanently tuning it to his own energy. when he was sentenced for his crimes, they intended to use the link to trap him forever within the armor, but it backfired and instead became animate, inhabited by his consciousness and memories.
The armor was effectively a part of him already, meaning it would take somewhat less power to transfer his soul.
GM Notes and Observations(warning, there is a bit of an ongoing discussion between me and Spirit in the notes):
Spirit:We'd prefer a definitive height ie 5'10"
Spirit:Semblance name could just be Propulsion instead of reverse propulsion
Phantom:Maybe even something like Rebound
Spirit:ooh that's a nice one. But yeah, something one worded for ease of rememberance
Phantom:IE, speed, polarity, shadow, glyphs. ability is good, though. just needs a better name.
Spirit:Versatility is great too
Spirit:Like the double meaning of her name - Crimson Copper and Darker Copper
Phantom:the rare non-sexual double entendre, a dying art.
Spirit:It's brilliant to see though. Nice to see the pronunciation too.
Spirit:Fighting style isn't that efficient - more brutally effective with fast attacks. Still a fast fight, but less one hit ko and more as many attacks as possible
Phantom:low DAM high DPS
Spirit:yeah, I realised what I said and changed it
Phantom:I'm a bit wary of wolf themed characters, but pleasantly surprised by Tamn not being a walking stereotype. not relevant, just saying.
Spirit:I like her huggableness. It's more wolf pup than Alpha or Omega wolf

Spirit:Yeah, anyway, Tamn
Phantom:Right.
Phantom:Symbol doesn't really reflect her as a character.
Spirit:But it could be a family symbol - maybe if she put that?
Phantom:like a crest?
Spirit:Yeah, like the Schnee logo
Phantom:Alright, yeah, I can see that.
Spirit: What's the reverse magnetism part of her semblance? It's in her landing stratedgy
Phantom:Probably just a continuity error, happens all the time.
Spirit:Maybe she means the bounce effect, how she uses it to slow her fall...
Phantom:probably.
Spirit:Oath is cool, both Break and Keep. Though I think Breaker and Keeper are better names for the individual names than Break and Keep. Ties in with the overall name a bit better
Phantom:Yeah, sounds a bit more consisent.
Spirit:Can she use the chains when they're dual headed? I know she said it's unweildly with the longer handles, but
Phantom:Like an urgrosh?
Spirit:Uhh...google comes up with an axe
Phantom:probably thinking of a different DnD weapon, then
---end notes---

an explanation would be useful, I made a few assumptions when making Solace, what with the self repairing sword and the whole 'soul bound to armor' thing.
Waiting until we have a definite yes/no on interest from all of the players from the previous poorly planned version do put one up, just so we have a proper headcount
I actually go by phantom, just so you know.
Name:Solace Nocte(alias, real name unknown)

Gender:Male

Age:Unknown

Homeland:Coleander

Occupation: Band Member

Specialty: swordsmanship

Weakness: subtlety

Appearance: Clad entirely in shining armor lined with strange black cloth. no part of his physical body is visible. the armor is very archaic in design, and highly ornate, carved rather then hammered into shape. engraved on several of the components is a symbol; a perfect circle, cut clean through the armor, revealing the black cloth beneath, surrounded by 8 triangles, carved to approximately halfway through the plate

Weapon:A greatsword. embedded in the crossguard is a purple Divinare infused gem that allows the weapon to repair itself over time, this includes permanently rendering the blade razor sharp. inscribed in the fuller are the words:for my failure, a thousand deaths

Personality: Despite being extremely formal, Solace is a man of few words, and he speaks very deliberately, never uttering a word of his past deeds or why he participates in the band system. nevertheless, he is very much a cooperative warrior, and works well with others, be he in command or taking orders on the battlefield. Surprisingly devout, he will often say a prayer for those he slays, and regularly visits the graveyard of any town he visits in order to pay respects to the fallen, though he avoids churches and temples.
