Desirae woke up to the birds singing which was a wonderful way to wake up. She was sorting through the limited clothes she had to choose from when she remembered the envelope that was at her front door last night. She got dressed quickly into her black hoodie and jeans, and went to go open up the envelope. She picked it up and opened it and it read:

Dear Desirae;
I know you have not heard of me before, but I have been looking out for you your whole life, now it's important for you to do as this letter says. You must go to the museum,I know you may be scared to go outside the woods, but I will look out for you, not to worru, as soon as you read this you may go. You will find one specific painting that will stick out to you, however much they say don't touch it,you must touch it, understood? Now you must go...

Once she read it, she was shocked, suspicious, but more than anything excited, she had always wanted to go to a museum, now she had the chance. She picked up an apple and ran all the way to the museum. Once she got there she was puffed, but she walked up the stairs quickly and went inside. Her mouth opened in awe as she saw all the wonderful paintings inside, she didn't know how she was going to choose. She walked around quickly and found this one painting that just made her smile.


She reached her hand out smiling and touched it, it was a strange sensation, it felt like she was literally going inside the painting. But one thing was for sure was that she didn't want to stop she went closer and closer, until she felt like she was falling and she screamed. She thumped on to the ground, and she stifled a cry getting up, wiping the dirt off her clothing, but then she looked up and realised she wasn't in the museum anymore she was in front of an academy, and was beginning to feel extremely confused when she saw the sign "Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts". She was compelled to walk closer so she walked up to the sign and looked around for anybody else that was there.
