That was a lot of tags. So it looks like it gonna be running business as usual soon. Glad to see everyone is stirring again. Might take a while for everyone to shake the cobwebs off, but I'm sure we'll get back into the swing of things in a while.

I'll be posting if I see a reason to present itself. For now my guy is trying to stay out of the spotlight until round one of the competition.
Alright, a few days late. I posted my faction into the Character tab to let people be able to read an overview. Hope it helps clear up any confusion some of you felt from earlier.
Name:The Red Hand

Colors:Red, black, and blue

Objective:The Red Hand value power above all. They seek it in it's many forms, no matter what stands in their way. Whether it means stomping a trainer for their Pokemon, if not killing it in the process. Joining competitions to show off how strong their Pokemon are, or joining others for knowledge of how to get better. Every member only respects power and aren't afraid of taking it if they have to.

Capability:They are considered dangerous even among themselves. Only so long a group this large can remain split on their issues, slowly causing a tear among everyone involved. Overconfident and reckless in their choices, they often resort to brute force both in and out of the battle. They will often overlook weak trainers preferring to prey on those they deem worthy of their strength. In their eyes, the trainer should be as capable as their Pokemon, causing both to be fair game in a fight.

Special: Most of the lower grunt's Pokemon are known for having moves that do damage now, no matter the consequences. Recoil, fainting, confusion, unable to move, death, who cares what happens to their Pokemon if it means a win? It's for these reasons they continue to have a bad reputation. These are the stories that everyone has heard of, which isn't completely true.

There are some members trying to prove they can help others, that strength is the power to help the weak. Others have taken to contributing towards science, seeking power through knowledge. Some of the nicest people also are in the group, willing to help others or just looking for a good fight. You might even hear The Red Hand contributing to and leading research on various subjects. So despite what you hear, you should keep this in mind. Not everyone in The Red Hand are bad people, the bad rep comes from a small percentage of the group.

That stunt in Dewmeadow is hilarious. A Mareep covered in String Shot is unintentionally using Rollout. Add one annoyed Purrloin using Scratch and it gets better.

I can't help but be reminded of Katamari Damacy. Now I'm getting ideas for odd Move combos...
Yeah, that might have come off too much as complaining. Apologies if I offended someone here. Thanks for the feedback on that kind of stuff though. I'll refrain from posts that don't contribute to the story.
Man, not to be that guy, but does no one acknowledge that there are factions doing things IC? It's cool because most of them don't interact with the player, but I expected some kind of reaction from the OOC...

The Leader

Here he was, another day in seclusion with his Pokemon. This was not a vacation though, it was time for more training. This was his fifth time this week coming up into the mountains for the same regiment. He had a strict schedule to keep, and everyone will keep up, or else. He took out his six Pokeballs, covered in mud and dirt from dropping and setting them on the muddy floors today. It was raining out today, and that wouldn't be stopping him from more training. The fifth day, time to figure out who was the best of his team again.

One by one he called out his team. Normally, they would be happy to be free of their confinement, but they knew why they were called on. As each one came out, they got into position, setting up in a circle. Today was a no rules, no mercy, no sympathy free for all fight. Each one eyed each other, today was their day to show they were the best in the team. A weekly honor of getting special treatment, respect, and praise from The Leader.

As the fifth one was called out, the ground curved downward into a cone, surrounded by mud flowing into the pit. Arena Trap was now in effect, surprising a few of the newer Pokemon. With the last one called out, they all stood there in a circle waiting for The Leader to start this fight.

"As you all know, it's time to figure out which of you is the best in my team. Same with the last fights, you all know who is the reigning top dog here. As always, anything you can think of is allowed, so don't disappoint me. The winner will then have to fight me, just to make sure you didn't win by sheer luck." This speech was well rehearsed by this point, and everyone knew what to do. The air was tense for the next few moments. Maybe his champion would finally be taken down, it wasn't likely though.

"On your mark..." Heads were turned, preparing various moves in advance. Sand was starting to kick up into the air. The ground was cracking from the pressure of an eager Pokemon preparing to hit everything. One was heading up for the height advantage, lazily going with the wind. The air stunk with the aroma of musky odors mixed with rain and heat. The seconds slowed, time stood still. No one dared to act early, they knew the penalty for it.

"Get set.." Local Pokemon in the area picked up the tension in the air and were scattering. For some, it was too late, for others they just wanted a spot to take cover. The plants were battered and crushed from many visits here. When these fights happened, nothing was off limits from the destruction. Lightning flashed, illuminating 6 muscled and bruised Pokemon standing in a circle, various lights dancing off of them. Determination and the will to win showing strongly on their faces. The area fell silent, the calm before the storm. The Leader took a deep breath, it was showtime.

Second to last post still, but you know I'll be back in the swing of things once the old ball starts rolling again.
I got mentioned...

Well, it sounds interesting. I mean, you expect us to be working a job by day and being some sort of adventurer by night? I don't mind the mention of possible death. Possible implies there’s an omniscient death machine around the corner waiting to kill us. Not that our gracious GM would try to slaughter us like that. For an interest check, count me in.

However, I would like a little more than a learn as we go type of explanation. Just the basics of how the LLAMA system works, as I never heard of it before. May the odds ever be in our favour.
@KoLI love the double post, and the Kill la Kill reference. I'm still in in it to win it. Randar is still ready to show his power off, and all will tremble before his power. Count me in still.
