Martin was shaken out of his thoughts by how dark it got, among a few obvious reasons. He looked around at the scenery, or lack of it. There was a lot of things going on back here, not that he was surprised. Always a back alley full of the shady types. The warehouse stood out as an interesting place. What would be so important that it needed a key card? Even if he wanted to check the place out, he didn't have one, so it wasn't happening, yet. He looked at the other spots and considered if it was a good idea to explore this place. He wasn't ready for a fight in a place like this, so it would be best to forget about this place.

"Ah, how did I get here? Ha ha, time to go back, Nincada." Martin wasn't expecting a reply from Nincada, who stared blankly at the area. Still, it was better to have someone to talk to. He turned around and walked his way out of the alleys. Snaking, turning routes, trying to remember which paths he took to get back out.

Once he got back out of the alley, it was time to get to what he was really looking forward to. Training a bit, and getting Goldeen stronger. Having a solid Water type was his original plan to fighting Fire types. So he went back out to the available boats to head out to where he spotted Pokemon earlier. He called Nincada back, and tossed out Goldeen, who enjoyed the water. Supersonic and Peck was all he needed to train with.

Action: Exit the back alley
Action 2: Go training with Goldeen.

It was a trip taking a boat all the way across the river and going through the flooded town of Lakewatch Town. Martin was a bit distracted looking for a Pokemon center, but was now able to take a look around at the town. That fight went on for a while, and it reminded him that his training is never over. Winning a fight by a hair is a great feeling, but he could do better. There's a Gym here, and if Cathia nearly took him down, then he's not quite ready to take it on. Goldeen was still missing out on some fights, and he was only as strong as the weakest teammate. That can wait, he really just wanted to check this place out first.

Martin looked over at Dawkin to give a quick summary of what he was planning on doing here. It was a nice thing to tell him. "Hey, I'm gonna take a stroll through the town and see if I can't find something interesting around here. Probably gonna end up training after that. Still, that might take a while either way. Feel free to call me if you need something. Oh, and great job on that fight." With that said, Martin turned to leave the Pokemon Center. Assuming Dawkin didn't stop Martin from leaving, or tell him to stop.

Out of the building, Martin called out Nincada from his Pokeball. With a flash of red light, Nincada was in the open. "Hey Nincada, got you some treats. Never got a chance to reward you for earlier. Sorry to let you get hit so often, but you did great back there." He held out a small handful of food. Nincada looked blankly at Martin, just standing there. "Right, or later. No big deal to me." With his hands back in his pocket, he walked through the town, with Nincada following him. He was off in his own world as he took a wrong turn, going down an alley way. Not like anything can go wrong, right?

Action: Go down the back alleys.
@PlatinumSkink Wasn't planning on using the Pokedex for where the Pokemon are. Just a list of what they are used on. Using the tools provided are a great starting point on the wild goose chase for the Pokemon. Course, you gave me a King's Rock. The item has two things it can be used on, so it's not like I'm getting an unfair advantage. Still got to bag the Pokemon and train it before evolution. Coming up on my checklist, finding a Slowpoke. Something I was not expecting to go looking for until now

Martin held back the cheer of a victory, watching Cathia recall her Pokemon and doing the same for Sprout. She wasn't counting the fight as a loss for her, which just made Martin look forward to beating her, even if it is based on what she called a win. After receiving a staggering amount of items, that he was more in shock of seeing. How much did this girl carry on her at all times? Rare Candy and not one, but for rare items such as these? He gave a few last words for Cathia, while not following her out. She didn't have to answer him. "You did a great job, and I look forward to beating you next time. By whatever rules you make."

Assuming Cathia kept going, Martin looked back to Dawkin. "Cleaning up your mess? That's kind of funny. How many times have you cleaned up my mess now? Let's see here, the swarming buzz of insects. Couldn't have gotten out of there without that Repel. I bought two of those just in case it happens again. Pretty sure you helped me out more than that, but we can call it even from here. It's teamwork, and my Pokemon would have gone down fast if you weren't getting my back. Seeing as both of your Pokemon fainted from this fight, and I'm not exactly doing so well either. How about we both head to the next town? You can head your own way afterwords if you want. Doesn't make much sense to split up right now if we're going the same way."

Martin had a smile on his face, showing all that joy he was trying to hold back with Cathia as he talked to Dawkin. He had no idea what the items he was handed were used for, so he looked through his Pokedex. The King's Rock was for two things, Slowpoke and Poliwag. The Water Stone had a larger list of things. Guess he needed to go out and find one of these things. Finally walking out of the caves after what felt like days, Martin could finally see the sun again. His first train of thought was finding a Pokemon Center. The rest can wait a bit longer. Unfortunately, he had to find a way to cross the water first, which would take some time to find a boat to cross, as he was already trying to not get any more soaked in water at this point.

Action: Head to the Pokemon Center and heal up his Pokemon.

The fight was almost done, despite the risk Martin was being forced to use. Marill was out of action, and the damage was not even worth mentioning. Nincada could have been doing better, but was still holding on as a tough wall. One more hit and he was done. Onix was also close to one more hit and done. Sprout was the force needed to push this to a victory. A victory could be done, even if Nincada had to go down. "Good job Nincada, one more time, stop that Rock Throw. Sprout, hit Onix with a Vine Whip. This fight ends once you make contact. I told you no one cracks Nincada's armor." Onix was dedicated to the attack, so his fate was sealed. The same was being said for Nincada, but it couldn't be helped. He had a potion ready, but seeing as Cathia never used one, neither would he. It almost felt like cheating to use one this far in now.

Nincada was hurt badly, struggling to stay standing. He moved forward, digging into the ground to stop the next rock. He was braced, but showed no emotion to even this. Sprout was behind him, vines extending outwards to go past Nincada and hit the massive Rock snake trying to get away from him. Martin looked back to Dawkin, giving a thumbs up. "We wouldn't have gotten this far without your help."

Martin pumped an arm in victory, Flabebe finally went down. The Leech Seed was what he needed to even the fight and Onix stopped the attack. Finally just him and- Cathia called out Marill to reinforce her team and was doing things. Right, he only could use one Pokemon because Dawkin was also here. Since he was eliminated, then having two Pokemon shouldn't be against the rules, right? If he fought with one at a time, it was possible. Martin gave this a few seconds to think about before shaking his head. He can't doubt himself. He dedicated Nincada and Sprout to the fight. As long as he didn't use Goldeen, then it wasn't cheating. Marill was just called out, so Sprout could take it out before it was a problem, "Sprout, use Vine Whip on Marill. Don't give it a chance to get involved in this fight. Also, seeing as this is a two versus one, I doubt you are gonna argue me evening the field. Come on out Nincada, it's not over yet. I need you to take a hit for Sprout."

Sprout was enjoying the moment of paddling through the water, before being commanded to jump back out of it, ignoring the large Rock type coming at him. Instead, he was pulling out vines to hit the still freshly called out Marill. A flash of light brought Nincada back into the fight, looking around for a few seconds. He was clambering between Onix and Sprout, and planting into the ground to intercept the attack. Martin was using Nincada as a wall again. He really needed to buy some treats after this. Probably a healing spot as well. If Sprout could eliminate Marill quickly, and Nincada was still standing, then he could set the stage for Sprout to instantly take out Onix. At this point, a Potion might be needed to ensure a victory.
@PlatinumSkink So following that statement. Would it be against the rules for Martin to pull out Nincada to have two Pokemon on the field? I can go either way, it's just that I feel this is important to ask before making a post.

The stakes were raised now, with Atlas out of battle, and Sprout being outnumbered. He managed to get a Leech Seed off, and the timer was ticking. "That will do, Dawkin, I'll finish this one off. No matter the stakes, Sprout can stand up to the fight. Dodge Onyx's attack. We don't have to lay a finger on Flabebe, she's already finished." Martin might be getting too confident. Flabebe was holding on by a sliver, and the next dose of healing will take care of her and get Sprout ready for the final round. All he needed was Sprout's Overgrow to kick in and land one hit to win the fight. Leech Seed will get him healing little by little until there was nothing left to take. Martin had a smile on his face, looking at Cathia.

Sprout looked at the massive rock heading towards him, with the Fairy getting ready to stop him. Instead, he headed to the water, ready to take a dip in the water if needed to get out of the way. Onix wouldn't be brave enough to go through that to get him. Despite the damage showing on his body, Sprout had more to give to this fight.

Now things were on the track to coming towards a close. Wooper dealt a heavy hit on Onix, but was still standing. Flabebe and Onix weren't doing too well, and either one of them could go down next. That would be great news, if they both weren't focusing Sprout with everything they got. One hit on either one of them would be good enough to stop them. If he could just get a reprieve from the incoming damage. Cathia was desperate, but she wasn't dumb. "Sprout, use Leech Life on Flabebe. Don't bow down to their attacks." This was his gamble. Flabebe would stop the attack, and dodge instead. With that attack cancelled, only the Rock Throw would happen. Leaving Dawkin a shot to go after one of them. Even if she dedicated fully and Sprout was hit both times, he could heal it off by dodging for a while. Either outcome would end up well, solely based on if Sprout doesn't faint from these attacks.

Sprout looked upwards at the rock and small Fairy coming towards him. He shook his body, small seeds flying off of his back to greet Flabebe. He didn't look concerned or afraid of what was coming. He was going to take both of them down. Another challenge to Flabebe to attack him. Getting this close to Sprout meant Flabebe was quickly losing time to get away this time.

With a snap of a whip, and the surge of water, the dragon was finally down. Sprout took the hit from Fairy Wind, which didn't even hurt. Martin was about to cheer, until the looming size of Onix appeared. He had to pull out his Pokedex to scan the Pokemon. It was a Ground/Rock type. Wow, this was finally a stroke of good luck. As long as they both stood, they had massive damage against this one. Now Flabebe was on defense as expected. It was small, and couldn't stop both of them. "Sprout, time to split up. Get distance from Wooper and use Vine Whip on Onix. We'll hit it from both sides. No way Flabebe can stop both of us. Time for you to feel the pain of bad match-ups."

Sprout took off to the side of Onix, trying to draw the attention. Vine Whip reaching out from his back to attack the massive Rock Pokemon. This was the chance to take a second Pokemon out while the momentum was in their favor. If he could just force out Marill, he could use Vine Whip so they could focus on the Fairy. The pieces were falling in place after all of this work. No way he could stop now.
