I think the best way to add tension is if the film's in danger of being shut down. Maybe it's going over budget, maybe it's stirring up too much controversy, maybe there's litigation issues. Frankly, I don't see those occurring with a Bond film- everyone loves those, they get huge budgets, and the rights are pretty well sorted out.

Maybe the script deals with a topical issue, like the War on Drugs/ Terror? Maybe it's critical of certain policies and figures and the studio is balking at that?
I think everyone's agreed on an action picture.
I'd be down for that. I'd really like the vacation gone wrong aspect, too many kaiju RPs focus on big monster battles and not regular people.

As for location, were we thinking a large coastal city? Maybe Tijuana, the spring break capital?

The symbolism and metaphors actually aren't a big part of Leila's life, it was just a throwaway thing I decided to add in there because that's how I wrote her relationships.

It fits really well with how Klein views modern acting, though- more flashy theory, less substance. I'll change it if you like.

Clarion cleared the lip of the roof on his skates, landed gracefully on the other rooftop and applied the brakes. "This commission is bogus, dude," he complained casually, not even breathing hard as he leaned forwards and worked his legs. The wheels hissed over the roof. "This is just a list of products. I remember when I was a kid restaurants used to put takeout menus on doorknobs. Dudes would just throw that stuff away." Clarion shrugged. "Guess if homeslice has the bones, he gets what he wants. He isn't exactly all that and a bag of chips, though."

The two men reached another roof, this one gabled. Without thinking about it, Clarion leaped the next gap, grinding along the pitched gutter, an easy drop to the ground. "I really hope we can get some better stuff, y'know, dude? I mean, if I'm gonna put my name on something, I want it to be something I can be proud of, know what I mean? Y'know, I should probably ask you where we're going. And maybe get off street level," Clarion said, his voice trailing off as he realized Dodger had not followed him to the ground. Shaking his head, he grabbed the low gutter with his long arms and hoisted himself up. Had to keep his head in the game.
And relationships have been added for Harris Klein. Sorry to keep you waiting.
"Hang tight, ladies," Alex instructed as he gunned the engine. This was probably as many passengers as he was likely to get. Everyone else was going to have to fend for themselves. The Humvee roared past geek and refugee alike, out of the warzone that Camp Pendleton was rapidly becoming.

"Duck!" he yelled as the vehicle smashed through the chain-link perimeter fence surrounding the installation. Debris went flying, but the car was tough and heavy. A fence would barely scratch the paintwork. Outside the camp, he turned onto Baslione Road, one of the only thoroughfares in this isolated place. Around, the vast desert scrublands stretched on for miles. Alex considered turning around and heading into the base housing, but shook his head. The suburban homes would be deathtraps. No, into the wilderness.

"I'm Alex," he yelled to his passengers over the roar of the engine. "Alex Culver. I play for the Kings. Maybe you recognize me." He gestured to the younger chick who seemed to be having some trouble breathing. "She alright?"

While waiting for a response. Alex kept his eyes open for other vehicles. Surely others had escaped, maybe he could meet up with some of them. Safety in numbers, after all.
1956.
So this is more about maintaining a viable shelter than wandering all over the countryside like most zombie RPs?
And here it is. Apologies for the wait.
