I've never run a PlayByPost game and am interested giving it a shot with a PTU idea I've been toying with.
That said, in other respects, I am an experienced GM.
I've only run one PTA game before and never a PTU.
That said, I'm also taking new players who would like to learn to play or are new to the PlayByPost style as well.
A short descriptor of the game:
The game will take place in a pseudo-feudal England scenario and access to the Game or Throhs book will not only be allowed, but essential.
Trainers will be allowed one Poke`mon and it will be very difficult, if not impossible, to obtain more as the technology that makes pokeballs possible will not be available.
That said, choose carefully.
Trainer Combat will be pretty heavy.
The story will be atypical of the video games, with some homage to them.
All I ask as far as grammar is, "No text speak."
A few other rules include:
I am the GM, that means that I'm the final arbiter, what I say goes (Even if it conflicts with the book.)
Don't Godmode others' characters
Commit to the game, Please do not join if you have ANY intention to or not that you may leave prematurely
I ask for one post a day, but if that's not quite possible, I can be reasonable. If something comes up, or you regularly cannot post on, say Mondays for example, Just lemme know. Like I said, I'm reasonable.
