Hey look who's finally got a CS up.
Sorry I'm late -.-

Username: Prints Avoid

Name: Claude Desrochers

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Allegiance: Trainer

Pokemon:

Zen, male Slowpoke

Prism, female Amaura

While Prism isn't technically Claude's own Pokemon. The two have become very good friends, with the Amaura always coming along with him when he travels.

Appearance:

Claude's a big guy. He stands at 6'2" and has a robust solid build. He typically wears some loose pants of a sturdy material. He also wears a dark blue tank and a loose white button up shirt over that. Up until recently he wore glasses but switched to contacts. He's having trouble getting used to them.

Personality:
Claude is a nice guy. He's just... not always very good with people. Once a complete loner, he's learned to feel comfortable in social situations. However his grouchy and brooding nature isn't something he's learned to completely control. This can cause problems with others as he ends up getting annoyed with others or sometimes offending them. He has a low tolerance for people who annoy him.

He's got a pretty good brain in his head, and an eye for detail. He loves to just sit and observe, though using what he learns is much a much more satisfying feeling. Though he can keep up his grumpy attitude almost all the time, when he can be relax he's much easier to get along with. His friends have said it's like talking to a completely different person when he's in the middle of research or when he's fishing.

History:
Son of a fisherman, Claude grew up in Cyllage City. He had a decent childhood, not much different from that of the others in Cyllage. He was never too interested in the bicycle races though and while other kids spent their weekends watching and having their own races, Claude preferred to go out on his dad's boat. It was on this boat that he discovered his love of Pokemon. When fishing or when just sailing in general, the sheer beauty and variety of the different Pokemon he occasionally spotted awakened a great curiosity in him. Sometime when he was fifteen, he and two of his friends sailed around the coast to Azure Bay. While there, Claude was struck by a Slowpoke he saw, its tail in the water as if fishing. He sat with the Slowpoke for a while, the Pokemon not reacting to his presence but staring vacantly ahead. After a while it gave up, and one borrowed Pokeball later Claude had his first Pokemon.

Over the course of his childhood, Claude had made only about two friends. He avoided others, and others avoided him, especially once he started growing into his full size. Despite that his two friends helped him get over his discomfort around people over the course of a few years and actually occasionally enjoy the company of others. A common place for them to go eventually became the Cyllage Gym. It had become a popular spot with the teenage crowd of Cyllage, particularly those interested in becoming trainers. The rock walls were a nice change of pace. It was a fun exercise for him to plan his route up a wall, the attention it got form some of the girls also made him see there were benefits to interacting with people. Though Claude was more interested in the rock walls, he and his Slowpoke did occasionally take part in a battle. It was fun, but Claude always found himself distracted by his curiosity about the Pokemon.

It was at the gym he first encountered the fossil Pokemon. He'd heard about the lab down in Ambrette Town, but until witnessing Grant in a battle, he had never seen one of these Pokemon. About a year later, he went down to the Lab himself, intent on getting a research position in the lab. It took a few tries but he eventually secured a position as an aide at age 19. Though much of his work was running errands, he did get to spend a lot of time observing the revived Pokemon. It eventually became customary to take a fossil Pokemon with him every time he traveled in order to expose them to different environments.

Ah last day of finals. Just gotta get through it. I'll have my character up tonight I hope
Yeah, sorry. It's a really busy week for me. I'll try and get my character up as soon as I can but it may not even be until Thursday. finals week and stuff.
"Really now, come to life?" he responded with a grin. "My art has life all on its own, thank you very much," he said in mock indignance. "I'll come up with something..." The quill and notebook were quickly forgotten the moment Binns began his lecture. Twirling a drawing pencil in his hand he absentmindedly stared at the ceiling. The sound of Binns' droning just becoming indistinct. A couple of minutes later he didn't have any idea of what to draw but he had figured out where the charm went wrong, he'd have to fix that next time. His hand went back to the purple blob in his hair. He picked at it some more, hopefully he'd be able to get it out later without having to cut his hair.

He took a look around the room, noticing for the first time that one of the Hufflepuff girls from the train was in there. What was her name? Constance, right. He wondered where her friend was. Likely Roxane had been in a different year. He made a note to catch her on the way out of class. He noticed on the guy next to him, slumped across his desk, having already fallen asleep. Across the top of his notes the word GOBLINS was written, nothing else. Good as anything I guess, he thought. He carefully searched his memory for a good image of a goblin. He remembered a few from Gringott's, particularly Grunhok, his dad's preferred banker. He drew a quick sketch of the goblin, then repeated it a few times, the round head with pointed features pretty simple to reproduce. He then went through and fleshed them out. The one in front was clearly Grunhok. The rest all looked similar, yet they were clearly distinct. Most wizards tended to think all goblins looked the same, but a good eye and attention to detail would see they were as different as any humans.

He worked to finish the sixth and final goblin, smiling as the thought of these goblins dancing filled his mind. He suppressed a chuckle as he gave the drawing one more glance. He took a quick glance around, Binns' nose in his book like always, the students all otherwise distracted, and the auror... well it didn't look like he was looking this way. What was he even doing here? No matter. He turned around and quickly slipped the drawing to Raymond. "Knock yourself out."

Done~Prints, I was getting irritated at that story before you said you were just kidding. XD That's a good reason.

Hehe, sorry about that. i couldn't resist
Well I was gonna say my character's dad was the most recent champion, having caught all the Pokemon and been champion in both the Kalos and Sinnoh regions. Naturally he would have an Amaura just sitting around that he'd give to his only son. Either that or have the Amaura have come out of nowhere and saved him from a rockfall at a young age. Nobody questioned where it came from just that it must've been sent to help him. They've been friends ever since.

...
Nah I'm just joking.
I figure since these are young adults with basic Pokemon, they've had to be doing something the rest of their lives. I think working in the lab in Ambrette for some time seems reasonable. We could even say it technically doesn't belong to my character. The lab has just asked him to take it along and collect data and research and such.
You got my interest. Fossil pokemon okay? I wanted Slowpoke and Amaura
Roy walked into the History of Magic classroom, pulling at a dark purple blob in his hair. He'd gotten lost in his painting that morning, his daily habit of art before breakfast had made him late for breakfast, nearly missing it entirely. Luckily a few of his roommates had saved him some eggs and a couple of sausages.

His daily morning habit meant that he'd occasionally show up to his classes with stray flecks of paint on his hands, face, or hair. On his walk to the classroom he'd discovered and exceptionally large blob blue paint in his hair. In his rush, he'd overestimated the difficulty of a charm, and instead of the paint sliding right out of his hair, it had gotten really hot and baked into his hair. The hair around it was slightly singed.

Looking around the classroom he saw most of his Ravenclaw friends sitting towards the front of course, but they hadn't saved a seat for him. He nodded, they knew he hated this class anyway, and noticed Raymond sitting towards the back. This was easily Roy's least favorite class. Although it made for great thinking time as well as drawing time. He had yet to make through a single lecture without getting lost in his own thoughts. He had arrived just in time right before the lecture began. He walked to the seat directly in front of Raymond. He could already hear the smart remark. "Say what you want, but burning purple blobs into your hair is the latest trend and its awesome." He sat down with a laugh pulling out his quill and notebook as well as sheet of paper and charcoal pencil.
Hmm I was gonna come in an apologize profusely for having not checked in for a while due to school. Apparently I didn't miss much :P
Yes, yes it is. We don't have much to go on as far as clubs go. Most of them were either mentioned in passing or spotted in the background of film scenes or even in the video games. It seems safe to say most subjects have some club devoted to them though.
