Also I think Pucksy would be a tad upset if people wrecked his bar.
Not before Elric shares a drink with Samuel and gets his coin.

I've given you a way out; bed time for me again, got another early start tomorrow. By all means go mingle with the townsfolk whilst Gukb tries on womens' clothes and paints himself with lipstick. Or what passes for it anyways. Night all!

Don't get into mischievous situations! Eheheh... Night!
Elric shook Gukb's hand, "Yes, I didn't have a surname growing up, much like my siblings and my folks. And since I picked up the profession of a Barber-surgeon, I finally earned my own surname. As for Dwarves, usually they go about chipping stones, not bashing them. Though I did hear about one Dwarf, this tale was told to me by a Fullforge Merchant. There was this man named Rorn, apparently the man mined by bashing his head against the stone. And he didn't mind the blood coming from his scalp, and managed to loosen up some gems. He said it had something to do with 'GOT TA PROOVE MESELF'."

Elric glanced up at the roof, as the Goblin was talking about the structural composition and strength of it. "He was a good craftsman, but..." Elric snapped his fingers, "Ah yes, I must have been keeping him waiting for quite sometime. I hope he secured a couple of seats. The broom is underneath the table. Oh, say if you get thirsty after working, feel free to come over to the Jolly Hippogriff." Elric gave Gukb a quick nod, as he headed to the ladder. He grabbed a belt which was equipped with a small satchel, and quickly wrapped it around his waist and made sure it was attached. He then walked down the ladder, making a bit of creaking with each step down.

Once he was down to the ground level, he wandered up to where he had set a few candles before. They were still burning, but the candle itself was a rather small nub of wax. He moved cupped his hands around his mouth as he shouted up, "Don't be too mischievous!" He said in a jest, "I know you'll do fine!" He opened the door, and exited the shop, before closing the door again, and started to make his way over to the Jolly Hippogriff.

Thank you. His accent is really hard to maintain. Typing the words out so they sound that way goes against the grain, so you'll have to forgive me when he keeps using words properly, but then not. He probably my favourite character I've ever had the pleasure of writing about. Truth be told though, I owe big thanks to professor; I think the scene as a whole has allowed for a kind of character development you don't often get to experience here. Well, speaking for myself anyways.

Not a problem at all, not a problem at all.

Quick Edit: Also accents can be quite fun.
"Yes, working for a master with no name, is generally considered an ill-fated idea." Elric gave a quick flourish with his right hand, spinning it around with a quick twirl and extending it out. "Elric, Elric Barber. Typically I don't engage in the dramatic flair, but, it just felt right at this moment. I will say I am not nearly as talented in the dramatic arts as a mountebank. Hm, but onto much more serious manners than me engaging in the dramatic arts..."

He glanced back up at the roof, "Well yes, Johnathan bought this place quite some-time ago. Used to be owned by a man named Gerald, who was a rather corpulent individual. He gorged himself on greasy mutton as much as he could. From what I heard those chamberpots he had, actually corroded. I know that is some silly gossip, but with Gerald it had some bit of credibility. And, funnily enough I believe his primary profession was that of a carpenter. Well, considering the fact you got through there, you should have little problem fixing it back up."

Leaf is totally superficial after having nearly died...XD

It happens.
Yet he still has a child! ... While Elric does not...
Elric smiled, "Well then, if you are satisfied with the cut, then I've done my job. It never gets old seeing people enjoy their cut." He glanced at the pouch of coins that were put on his table, "I thank you Gukb, even though you couldn't afford it, you still handed over coins for payment. With that gesture, you have proven yourself to be better than some other humans..." He then patiently listened to Gukb as he told his story,

"Well, the wanderlust is a prominent thing. As for what caused it, there are many factors, but I feel that it is the fact that you would long for a place to call home, one where you aren't constantly threatened, one where you can raise a family and thrive. A desire, to not live in fear.." He followed Gukb, and stroked his beard. "I have an idea, it may not be much, but I will talk it over with John in the morning. Perhaps, if you aren't still eager in wandering the roads, you can help me out a bit. There is much hair that needs to be swept away, leeches to be collected, and other assorted tasks that I need to do besides my primary ones. I would of course hand a bit of coin your way the help, while making sure you have a roof over your head, and make sure to the best of my ability no one wants to kill you."

Not essentially. (exhibit A, harpies/sirens) I thought that winged humanoids would be alright, however, after seeing the creativity with Leaf. Sentient squirrel adventurer? Yes please. I also really like Elric so far!

Heh, I thank you. Elric is a fine individual is he not?
