Just realized something in the Skyrim theme song.

It says that the Dragonborn was both kin to wyrm and the races of men. So, does this mean that the beast races and mer (elves) couldn't be the Dragonborn? O.O Mind Blown

I know in the game you can be Dragonborn with any race and anybody can learn the thu'um as Ulfric showed in game, but lore wise and realistically the song shows that only races of men could be Dragonborn which means only Redguards, Nords, Bretons, and Imperials could be Dovahkiin.

Silana sighed. The new apprentices still weren't understanding that when you magic you had to conserve your energy and not just fling any spell out there. You had to think before you spent energy on a spell.
"Ok let's try this again. First, you need to judge whether or not your opponent is a mage or not. Then, you need to judge what to use against them when it comes to the three different spell categories of Destruction magic." Silana said.
One of the apprentices raised their hand.
"Yes?" Silana asked.
"Ma'am what about wards?" They asked.
Silana raised a hand to silence the apprentice.
"I was getting to that. See wards use magicka just like everything else magical. Wards also take time to charge up. The greater the ward the greater the charge time. Wards are defensive in nature, so use them wisely the next time you go up against an opponent using magic."

Name: Silana
Gender: Female
Race: Altmer (High Elf)
Abilties: a very high class mage but not afraid to fight with swords or axes either. Also, wears armor from time to time.
Background: Born in the Summerset Isle Silana moved to Skyrim during the time of the great war. Not taking either side she took up a job as a person teaching magic to others no matter who they were. The College of Winterhold took her in during the Dragon crisis and she's been mainly teaching Destruction magic to her fellow mer and man. Life seems simple now since the Dragonborn has defeated Alduin, but even then you had to be on your toes. You never knew what could happen in these times.

Rules and Regulations

Here are the rules to my Roleplay. Character introductions must be kept short but not long at the same time. I know this is under casual roleplay, but short replies I won't mind. I put it under casual to have more character depth and such things. No God modding which pretty much means you're not invincible unless I say otherwise for some story reasons. If you must battle someone else in the RP I leave it to the discretion of the writer to decide who wins the battle or not. This is a big responsibility, so don't mess it up!! You can be any race that the main game has such as Nord, Dark Elf, Argonian, etc. Anybody can learn the thu'um, but nobody is the main Dragonborn which I will play from time to time in the story as well as Alduin and the dragons from time to time. If things come up and there needs to be changes I will add to the rules and regs. I picked 18+ because of the marital status you can do in the game. Adult scenes keep to private messaging and let us know if you're going into a private scene with somebody with these marks***put words here***. Also, if you need to go out of character then use those same marks as well. Now for the background to the RP.

We are over the plains of Skyrim. The elk and mudcrabs eating peacefully by the riverbed near Whiterun as the giants and mammoths stand nearby. Alduin has been defeated by the Dragonborn and dragons still roam the land, but in fewer numbers. Suddenly, a mass of magical energy forms near some trees and blows them away. The mass of energy begins to enlarge itself until it sends a shockwave out in all directions. A nearby giant holds it's free hand up to it's head to protect itself then in an instant we hear hear the thu'um spoken.
"Fus Ro Dah!"
The giant goes flying and another nearby giant is enraged by this action to it's friend. In a flash we see a humanoid figure appear before they move in a whirlwind striking the giants with haste. The giants fall to this merciless attack and the mammoths run away.
"It's good to be back even in this form." The man says before everything goes black and he disappears.

Underrated and Overrated Video Games

For underrated I'm going with Lost Odyssey. It's a JRPG made by the same guys who made FF7. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJWZlqLxiLg&t. Don't have any games that come to mind for me that are overrated.

Roleplaying in Video Games (Your Characters)

I have too many characters myself over the years from video games to even put one down here. I'm actually on the verge of posting my own roleplay from a story I want to write out and publish. I'm thinking along the lines of receiving ideas from other people for the story then implementing them into the story itself. I've been working on it for years now and still haven't started it, because I just don't feel it's the right time to start it.

I did do a Skyrim RP on the old site years back that took off, but ended up dying out, because not too many people at the time were in to The Elder Scrolls. I agree on the whole notion that a mage should carry a weapon as well as his/her magic. Even wear armor. Sometimes, magic will fail or the character will run out of magicka, so you have to be prepared for these events.
