Not super important, but I can bump up Saya's age a bit, since it has minimal impact on her character (it might even make more sense to have her be older given the 'nurturing' archetype).
Yes you can change the age.
Although the original characters where teenagers I was thinking this re-boot could have older more in depth characters. But if you guys want to be teens that's fine. It's really up to you. A mixed age range is also acceptable. 16-30 I would say. 15 would cut it as well if you must.
As for me being the red leader I assumed that someone would want red. I also assumed that I would play as Zordon. Although I would love to play a red.

Real name: Tyler Mcgraw (age: 22)
Hero Name: Mantis Boy
Powers: Tyler has an alien bio-tech chip/"artifact/paracitic creature" imbedded inside his brain. This gives him spider-man like strength, the ability to wall crawl, boosted adgility, slightly hightend sences (Vibration sence, inhanced eye sight. nothing to brag about) His bio-tech thow hidden away inside his brain can grow at a single thought to cover his whole body in the alien bio-tech. This armor can withstand harsh blows, bullets, blades to a certin extent. The armor can heal it self and Tyler if given enough time (around 10 min to heal the armor/ about a day to heal Tyler) The bio armor has some hidden weapons as well. A sharp katana like blade can be ejected from each hand (like wolverine only katana like blades. one for each hand.) He can also create sharp boomarang like projectiles from his wrist that can be thrown at enemys. If thrown properly thay can return to Tylers hand. The armor also has the capeability to pop out a pair of mantis like wings on his back, giving him the ability to glide from roof to roof, although the wings do not grant him full flight he can hover for a bit and glide from perch to perch, wings a buzzing.
Appearance:
History: Tyler was forcefully abducted by an evil alien race and implanted with a paracite that was sapose to make him into a super strong long lasting mindless slave/soilder who would always serve loyaly. This alien race had endless numbers of these slave warriors. Some worked the labor yards, some sent into battle to fight on behalf of this evil race. All abducted from diffent planets across the cosmos. As unlucky as Tyler was, haveing been abducted by aliens he was lucky in the fact that his implanted paracite is "lame". Meaning that it grants him all of the power of the soilders with out the mindlessness and without the need to follow the "master".
Tyler still able to think for him self manages to escape the mother ship and crash land back to earth. He vows to use his power to stop corruption and help the earth. He wants to take down the alien race that did this to him. Though he dosent know who they are or where they came from.
Personality: quick witted, goofy, lazy, free spirited young man with a dislike for law and corruption of goverment. He would give his friends the shirt off his back while not thinking twice about taking down an enemy.
Affiliation: Anti-heroish hero.
Equipment: Blades, boomerangs, bio armor.
