I thought I’d use this space to share a little about myself and leave a few quick disclaimers. ✿ My username is meant to resemble a butterfly! ʚĭɞ It’s also the title of an album by the wonderful Ichiko Aoba, whose music I love very much. (My title, Fairy of the Shoreline, is also taken from a song of hers from this same album.) ✿ I’m a hard-wired introvert, and my social battery is pretty small. I also work a (sometimes rather draining) full-time job and try to keep my online presence minimal to focus on other areas of life. Because of that, I can get overwhelmed by social interactions, which might lead to delays in my replies – my sincerest apologies! (I’m also not too fond of sharing much personal information, so apologies if I appear a bit cold OOC.) ✿ I have OCD, which manifests pretty strongly in my writing. It makes me extremely picky about how my writing flows and the words I choose, and it often takes me a long time to feel satisfied with what I’ve written, as I tend to obsess over every little detail. Anything I post has probably been re-read and revised half a dozen times, at least. This might also explain any delays in my responses – sorry again!
