I know this character is a DC character, but as long as you change up the iriginal characters history and such it'll be okay. Cus yea, I'm looking more for original characters - I really don't want any canons from anywhere.

Alvey McConnell

History

Joining the military after high-school was Alvey's decision to make something of himself. His parents didn't mind his absence, never sending him letters of how much they missed him or even calling to see how he was doing. Eventually he got word from his sister that both parents were placed in a home. Three years later his father passed away and soon his mother followed. All this occurred while he was overseas in Afghanistan.

Alvey was driven to be a marine, undergoing harsh training and treatment to fulfill his desire. It wasn't to prove his family that he had finally made progress, but only to prove it to himself. Because he was unable to decide what to do during high school, nor sustain a stable part time job, Alvey understood there wasn't much for him after graduation. College didn't even come to mind since his desire was to leave the studies behind.

Anyhow, Alvey managed to become a marine later on, fulfilling his need. He eventually went on missions that required him to kill very important and dangerous people - many of which were terrorist. Like many people thought, everyone encounters difficulties in their lives and not many are able to come back from their downfall. Unfortunately, Alvey was one of those who failed. During a manhunt mission in Kabul, Alvey and his unit were sent in to locate a terrorist leader by the name of Adeib Kassem Mahdavi. The mission was simple, infiltrate the building, take down the target and await extraction. Alas, the mission was a complete disaster because Abeid received intel of the arrival of the U.S. Marine unit and were prepared. With brothers being shot down left and right, Alvey had no other choice but to retreat to the unknown streets of Kabul. Him and two other soldiers managed to escape, but the other four were gunned down at the firefight location.

Alvey and the remaining soldiers lived in Kabul for about three more months before being able to find a way back to the United States. At this point, the military declared all of them AWOL, not even believing in the fact that they had been abducted for ransom. It even started going even more downhill from there when word reached Alvey that his other two comrades had been assassinated by mercenary forces. With the knowledge, Alvey started to take action and changed his name and started to erase himself from existence, staying low like a ghost. He was capable of reaching out to his sister from time to time, but speaking to her was very hard for Alvey because of how distant he had become from everyone he knew.

So in the end, despite wanting to keep low from possible military mercenaries, Alvey could not let go how bad his own people had treated him and his brothers. His new desire was to find out WHY they had immediately labeled them AWOL and who was ordering these assassinations. So upon his return to Crown City, it was time to get answers. He was to believe that whomever had shot his comrades was still in the city and looking for him - and HE had the answers Alvey was looking for.

Personality

Unable to forget the events that made him a man, Alvey's sole desire to get justice from those who've wronged him. He is driven by the ideal personal need of others and acts accordingly. He is very passionate about what he does and has no remorse after acting upon what he deems as justified. Alvey is not a crude man though, he still has a beating heart that feels for the unfortunate and is capable of showing emotions such as that - maybe not like everyone else though. Ultimately, Alvey is serious and sets achievable goals for himself.

Setting

Crown City - current state: Plagued with criminal Kingpins who have devoured the majority. Politics have become corrupt in addition to the law enforcement that abides by it. Fear expands through the suburbs, even the wealthy unable to pay off their local thugs. The city looks broken, no longer a prospect in the run to perfection. Citizens still have their jobs though and live their daily lives. A lot of the major crimes are done underground - meaning outside of people's 'line of sight'. Overall, the crime rate has increased by about twenty percent. The city looks in shambles, but can still be brought back to its prime.

Plot

[center][i]Crown City had always had a large criminal population. After leaving State View Prison, free men would return to their facilities in the ghettos of the city. These ghetto's were usually stationed in the lower class sectors of the Crown City. The wealthier people would remain in the suburbs and never dare to step foot in such criminally based locations. Even cops feared these ghettos for it was where many bigger criminal names sprouted from. Names such as Jimmy Clain - a never convicted trafficker of women who originated near the border of Crown. He's a very intelligent man, keeping his business as 'legit' as possible under the circumstances. Everyone knows what he does, but nobody is ever man enough to do anything about it. The guy is always escorted by big tough guys with guns under their coats - guarded twenty four seven. There's also that lunatic known as Cinco or Fives. He's a crazy Mexican thug who came out of nowhere and has been known for kidnapping wealthy folk and torturing them - all while taking video's and posting them on his website. His current status is unknown.

Anyhow, these guys are not the biggest names out there, but some just to show how bad Crown City has gotten. It wasn't THIS bad before. Before, there were actual people who fought against these criminals and made their lives hell. They were known as vigilantes by some, but heroes by others. They did their job right. Stopped the bad guys and put them in State View Prison. Problem was, vigilantes didn't have the numbers - the criminals did. It came to a point where masked heroes were being put down quicker than they could rise. Because the same criminals that they put in would get out and get revenge, it was getting uncontrollable. That's where we are now.

Since the vigilantes/heroes who did their job right and under the law kept failing, another side to heroism was established. These very few 'heroes' disregarded the laws and understood that to take back their city, they needed to do the thing others failed to do - put the criminals down and don't give them a chance to get back up.

The RP

SO! The plan is to have our characters be these dark vigilantes/heroes who take down the bad guys. OOOOOOORRRRRRRR, if you want, you could be one of the remaining 'good heroes' - even a new 'good hero' who still believes in the system. As for the dark heroes, they are not afraid to kill or go beyond the necessary to put these criminals down. Of course, with such a history, these dark heroes will be controversial in the streets. People will see them as villains, other will believe they are heroes. Even the cops will have that same decision to make. I'm not looking to create a dark hero team - that's not the point of this. The main goal is to have our heroes take the city back from the Kingpins that own it. If they come together, great. If not, I think it could still work.

People To Know

Jimmy Clain
- Woman Trafficker near Southern border of Crown City. This man bring women from all over the country and sells them to the highest bidder. Many know the business he overtakes, but are never able to prove it with hard evidence because he always delegates the job to his employees. For him and his business friends, money talks.

Cinco or Fives
- Serial Killer who kills the wealthy while videotaping it and posting it online. His last known location was in the Northern Sector of Crown City. He speaks fluent English despite being born in Mexico. He has stated that he wishes to rid the world of all its rich people because he thinks they are the cause of the world's problems.

Charlie Heir
- A lot like Jimmy, Charlie is a business man. He owns many of the North Sector's clubs and casinos. In them, it is said he runs a very productive drug deal. He is wealthy enough to pay off law enforcement to look the other way.

Stacey Wright aka. Beef Jack
- Beef Jack is a radical woman's activist. She initially became known for killing her husband on the first year of marriage. She was never convicted because she was never charged - ironically, her father the lawyer was there to represent her and won the case. Despite this, Beef Jack then went ahead and killed her father. Her rampage went on as she continued to kill the male oppressors of the world - sometimes even killing weak woman who would not stand up for themselves. She believes woman are superior and oversees the Southern Sector of Crown City.

Big Tim
- Fired from his Sergeant Position at the CCPD, Big Tim is known for killing police officers who come in his path. Only problem is that he ends up in prison for small offenses, not the ones Judges would like him to go down for. He is currently out of prison and roaming the streets of Crown City.

Sage Garrison aka. Ghost
- A bloodthirsty gun for hire, the alias Ghost was created merely to get revenge for his mistreatment as a child. Located in the Northern sector of Crown City, this man is one of the deadliest assassins in the city.

2. I will not accept any OP characters. Despite characters not having superhuman abilities, Over Powered Characters can still exist - so DO NOT make them.
3. This RP will have Mature content - this implies explicit language, blood and gore. Sexy time will be taken to PMs - unless y'all wanna get freaky. Joking. No. But yeah, fade to black, or go to PMs.
4. Be fair and courteous to other Roleplayers. Do Not in any circumstances start trouble in any thread. If you wish to file a complaint, do it to me via PM. I'll do my best to handle it.
5. Idk what else there is to add, so just have fun and let's get this thang going.
