Floyd - Into Darkness - Jessalyn

Floyd just watched as the girl started to approach him. It seemed she was frightened by him, as if he were a beast she was slowly approaching just for games. Then suddenly, she sat next to him, about a foot apart between their arms. Floyd didn't speak at all, he just stared at her as she continued to move in. Then she added words to her movements, asking the reason for his treatment towards her. She rambled about her feelings and how the world around her seemed to be limiting her or some shit.

Then it happened, she was so close to Floyd that her head came in contact with his shoulder. Her words roamed his mind as he felt her agony, agony that angered him. Floyd's conscious involuntarily used anger to block out other emotions that it did not comprehend. Floyd's entire life had been filled with nothing but agony, so this little interaction, this 'love' as this girl would call it, was bullshit. She didn't respect him, she was merely using him like she did that other guy. She gave him sex for protection, and now it seemed she was about to do the same with Floyd.

Without further ado, Floyd jumped as her head had laid there long enough. He busted into a stance as he looked at her with brows contracted with rage. "Is that what you think of me? HuH? I saved ya damn life back there! I come here and give you a damn blanket and my food!" he yelled. His voice echoing through the woods. The darkness had finally upraised. They were surrounded by complete and utter darkness, nothing in sight. "And here you are askin' me why I hate you?" He then rushed forward to the bowl of food he gave her and tossed it forcefully against a tree. "You don't know nuthin' girl! You sit out here talkin' bout how rough you've got it, how alone you feel! I've never had friends! I never had someone take care of me like your friend Lynn! Nobody gave me nuthin', I faced the world on my own god dammit! I sure as hell never fucked someone cuz I felt alone! You don't shit about being alone!" he growled as he walked side to side gasping for air.

He looked at the pitch black trees for a second as he regained his breath. He shoulders swayed up and down along with his torso. He then fell to the ground from exhaustion and vexation. His mind was clouded from the events that just barely unfolded. This girl did not understand the new world they lived in. She still felt like there was trustworthy people out there, but failed to notice how everyone changed after the virus spread. Nobody is who they were anymore and those that are - die. She was blind and Floyd could not comprehend. How could somebody continue to be who they are after what's happened? It just didn't make sense, yet this girl, Jessalyn, was an exception. She still breathed and was about to bare child yet she didn't change her ways, why?

But suddenly, that thought was laid to rest when sudden moans could be heard nearby their camp. Floyd quickly regained his balance and ran towards his bow, at the same time, picking up the girl by the arm, even if she pushed him away. Out of the darkness came two walkers lingered out, all running into the cans he set up earlier, tripping over the small string, yet still getting back up and reaching the two. "Follow the marked trees back to the railroad and stay there till I find you! GO!" Floyd commanded, pushing Jessayln towards the first marked trees. The events unfolded so quickly that he wasn't prepared for it, it was so unexpected. In addition to the three walkers that initially jumped from the dark, another four joined them. There wasn't even a second to think, only react. Floyd armed his bow and shot one of the walkers in the head, but did not have time to re-arm it once more. Without hesitation, he twisted his torso, taking his bow like a bat, and as he twisted, smashed the walkers brain, shattering through the skull, but eventually breaking his bow in two. That left five more walkers, or so he thought. It seemed that through that battle, more walkers had entered the arena, more than imagined. He could no longer keep count, so started to run to the left, away from the tracks, screaming and taunting the walkers as he sprinted. This was to have these parasites follow him instead of heading back to the tracks. But one can only run for so long, the walkers, forever. Ironically, the one alone was once again Floyd, into darkness.
You want me to take over the bad guy? Cuz I have no problem with that.

Floyd - Camp - Jessalyn

About twenty to thirty minutes later, Floyd returned from the inner woods, reuniting with his bike. He looked around for the girl until his eyes met her location. She had dozed off where she initially was told to remain. As Floyd started towards her, he noticed her condition. Her facial expression, the tears flowing down her cheeks, her body language - all these aspects gave her away. She was most definitely feeling the after effects of abandoning her friend, the after effects of living in the shit hole they currently roam.

Floyd walked up to her slowly, crouching to meet her. Without saying anything he took her by the arm and helped her stand. He looked at her for a couple of seconds, the wind behind them whistling in harmony. The silence was beautiful, regardless how lonesome it made the scene. Without anymore time wasted, Floyd headed towards his motorcycle, starting to push it further into the woods, heading towards camp. "C'mon, it's gettin' dark" Floyd said softly, his voice rasping neutrally.

After about three-fourths a mile, the two would reach the camp. Floyd set up a perimeter of string that had cans attached to it. This would make it easy to catch incoming walkers, or anyone for that matter. He left his bike outside if the perimeter, making sure he left it where an escape route was attainable. He marked trees with his trench knife so he would know the way back to the tracks. The cans had been filled with food, but in need of protection, he pull all the food into one single container, mixing the different soups, fruits, vegetables, meats, etc.

"Here, you go ahead and get some rest girl, I'll keep watch" Floyd said without looking at her. He had handed her the only blanket he packed in his bag. The moon was already coming out and the sun had pretty much faded. It would be darker in the woods than it would have been near the tracks, but out there they were vulnerable able to any sort of attack, in the woods, it would most likely be only walkers. "If you get hungry, here, you can have as much as you need" he said, putting his mixed food container next to her.

Floyd then resumed by laying next to a tree by his bike, a few feet away from her. He just stared at the stars above, as if able to see the universe. It was an amazing sight, though he would most likely never admit it.
That means a lot Myst, thank ya.

Amelia 'Rose' Stephens 26Amelia tends to excel in keeping hidden and remaining out of sight and out of mind. By using her experiences from before the outbreak she has managed to remain distant from heavily infected areas and others who would seek to harm her for resources. M4 Carbine - Currently empty but kept with the hope she might come across rounds for it. M9 Pistol - Two clips remaining. Combat Knife. At first she is fairly reserved and quiet, preferring more to observe before making an opinion on her surroundings or a particular person. She can however, be quite talkative when and if she feels comfortable and usually this is a sign she is trusting you. She can be incredibly stubborn at times, especially if she feels she is right and will often walk away from a conflict then talk it out. From first impressions she will usually come across as kind, friendly and helpful however this is once you can gain her trust otherwise she will be abrupt distrustful and fairly cold towards you. Before the outbreak Amelia served as a RAF Regiment Gunner. She was flown into the US to help set up blockades to protect communities and lock out the infection. But it wasn't long before they were soon overrun and were out of time. They waited for backup to arrive, holding off as many as they could despite that the blockade wasn't even close to finished. But it was far too late, backup never came and it soon was understood that staying would mean imminent death. So a good portion of the blockade ran, Amelia among them. During the following week eleven had made it from the blockade alive, by the next week three remained. Amelia has been on the move ever since. Tried to keep this as small as I could so I could give more IC. Hope this is ok.

Accepted temporarily until Myst accepts it. This means you are welcome to post. Just keep in mind that Myst may - which usually never happens - have you change some things. But overall, your character is ordinary and accepted

Have a bio, why not. Sister A 34 A woman with darker shade of blonde hair. She often takes to wearing long trenchcoats now that the zombie apocalypse has arrived. She's taken to constantly wearing sunglasses, and even has two back-up pairs. Underneath those dark shades are a bright amber, almost golden in color. Nerves of steel, a Saint's forgiveness, and dead-on marksmanship. Tommy Gun, Hand Gun, Sling Sister A, as can be expected from the name, served as a religious figure. Of what sort and what kind is not known, though she certainly has picked up a few strange habbits and skills. The job was probably as unusual as the person, no doubt. Many people knew about her, but actually knew anything her. Those that did seemed rather shady, though their faces changed to either a happy or worried one.

I'll accept it temporarily. I'd like Myst to look over it just in case. But If you want to make your first post for now, its fine. Your first post shouldn't have any interaction with our character though, it should be more of a pilot rather than an interaction.

Floyd - Disperse: Tha Heist - Jessalyn

A loud whistle then blew past Floyd's ear. That 'sound' then clashed against the surface of the dirt beneath him, sinking into the core. "Shit!" Floyd murmured as his teeth grinned fiercely. His muscles tensed a little as the gunfire continued. He was on a black two thousand thirteen Tha Heist, which was very odd, because that was not the bike he had parked there when he first escaped the city. He had been riding a Yamaha Triumph. It seemed somebody must havee traded bikes, taking the Triumph and leaving this one behind. Thankfully, the key was still in the ignition, leaving would be no problem.

Suddenly, aside from the gunfire, a hand grasped Floyd's arm. It was the child bearer trying to take him off the bike, all in attempt to protect him. It had been an unexpected touch that he had jumped a little from the collision. As Lynn returned fire, Floyd got off the bike and picked Jessalyn off the ground like a child. "Were going kid, like it or not!" he growled at her, forcing her on the bike, getting on right after her. He turned the throttle and a burst of dark smoke blasted from the muffler. He turned back to face Lynn, hopefully she would understand what he thought from mere eye contact.

Without further hesitation, the bike started rushing through the grassland passing up all the train cars. "We'll continue until I feel were far enough to be safe!" Floyd called out to Jess, making sure she heard him over the intense wind hitting their faces. The gas on the bike was low, probably the reason it was abandoned. "Dammit, at this rate we wont make it to the next town" he thought to himself. He looked at the side mirror and could see Jessalyn's reflection, the fear she deeply felt could be seen on her face. "Calm down girl, they'll be alright!" he called out once more, trying to calm her down. He lied to himself by saying he'd done it to stabilize the bike, but he calmed her down because...........................................

After a speeding journey, Floyd decided to stop as the nearby trees started to get condensing. It seemed they were closer and closer to the center of the forest. They were still near the tracks, but soon enough, they would be surrounded by trees, which in this case, was sort of dangerous. They wouldn't be able to tell a tree from a walker. He turned the ignition off for the moment as he began to think. He grunted from frustration. "Get off" he commanded as he also did the same. After Jess did as he commanded, he started rolling the bike aside towards the forest. "We'll have to camp in the woods for the night. I wan't to get a camp set up before it gets too dark. You stay here while I go in the woods and get everythin' set up, got it?" he asked, not waiting for a response. With those finalizing words, Floyd started for the dark and empty landscape. His body then camouflaged with the trees and was no longer visible. Only the motorcycle remained with Jessalyn, not even the keys were on it though, so she wouldn't leave with it. He gave her no other option but to wait, but would he return? The entire group had now been dispersed.

So I decided I want to try an alternate character...of the opposite sex...so I'm gonna be struggling.Appearance : Name : Daniel CroweAge : 29 Skill : Hand-to-hand Combat, Firearms SpecialistWeapon (up three): Combat Knife, M9 Beretta, Tactical AxePersonality :Good: Daniel is a very tactics-oriented person due to heavy military experience. He plans things out before executing. He is somewhat dismissive, but if he cares about someone, he is very compassionate to them.Bad: Daniel can be stubborn, and has a relatively short temperBrief Bio : (we are not going to know much about each other at first so only a brief history, such as what they were doing before the outbreak, is fine) Daniel spent the last two years before the outbreak as an Army Ranger. When the virus hit, he went back to Louisiana to find his Dad and younger sister, Emma. When he got there, the house was abandoned, but they'd left a note saying they were headed to new orleans.
