The story begins with Loki in his cell in the deepest dungeon of Asgard. He is alone, in the shadows of captivity lost to the world above him. Hated by all of Asgard he sulks and despises and curses the living above. Only once the lights are dim does he cry from loneliness, from fear. Is this to be his life forever? Then, he is told that he has a visitor, the first time in years....
