Hikari was mortified when the limo pulled up, right in front of the paparazzi. Hikari wasn't the type to just walk out into the spotlight voluntarily. She was more the type who sat back and watched. Besides, she hadn't signed up to be a super star or a super hero. She signed up to not be put in jail. Now she was going to have to deal with aliens, press, and possibly a crazy teammate that when transformed liked to eat people.
Hikari barely acknowledged John. Seven minutes would be fine. Besides, it was a fairly minor wound, she didn't know why she was fussing over it so much anyway. It'd probably be gone sooner than normal anyway. Hikari stopped leaning against the ambulance and walked over next to Roxy. She glared at him out of the corner of her eye, but didn't say anything. She'd learned to just shut up and do whatever the agent in charge said.
Hikari watched John talk and walked off, muttering under her breath, "show off." She managed to snag a few gauze wraps off an ambulance and cover up her hand. It'd be all sealed up in a day, which was great, but until then it would bleed freely. For one reason or another her skin covered it before the blood stabbed over. Which mean it wasn't easily opened, but at the same time, it was a slow bleed until her hand managed to lay down the first layer.

It was stupidly fragile too. Thankfully, she'd used her off hand and wasn't too crippled. Still sucked though. However, as long as she didn't bother it too much, in three days she could use it effectively. Thankfully things were wrapping up, and for once, she was glad she had someone else to back her up. They could handle things from here.
Drake was a little speechless. He missed his chance to say anything to the woman who had talked to him. So instead he played with his hands, twisting them and pulling at them. He would like to have told the woman he was just in the basic course, but then other people fell from the sky. That was okay, he could be overlooked for a while. He stood and dusted off his pants, trying to regain his composure. "Um, Lady Violetta? I'm in the Basic School." He said it quietly, but hopefully he wouldn't be overlapped by the other students talking to her.
It was because we were waiting on Hellhound, and suddenly, BAM! We jumped on posting like hungry wolves.
"Gator Boy, quit it," Hikari said, dragging away Hellhound. "Jeez, no need to bite the dude's head off. If we do that, then we don't get to run around doing this job." Hikari winced once Hellhound was clear. She hadn't covered up her hand yet, and it was bleeding even more now that she'd moved the guy. "You move Nic back to base and we'll take care of the rest." This guy had no control, it would be better if he was as far away from Hellhound as possible. Especially since now she had to keep a level head, and it was getting harder with her bleeding out. If she could find the police, she could find some medical supplies. Win-win.
Drake wandered around, looking for something to do. He'd been wandering around town, looking for something to do until it was time for him to head off to this new 'magic' school. The way his parents talked about it, it was amazing and made of gold. Before he knew it he was turning into antique shop, paintings on display in the window. He browsed a bit, wandering around as he looked. After a while, he found a lively castle, pink and blue with tiny trees all around. Strangely enough though, the plaque was the same name as his school and inviting him to touch the painting. Eh, why not? It wasn't like one more hand touching this painting couldn't be all that bad. Tentatively, he reached his hand out, his finger barely brushing the painting before he was suddenly falling through the sky. Once he'd landed -hopefully without breaking anything- he said, "I'll never touch another painting as long as I live, I'm so sorry!"
Kacey sat up, watching the Dean more intently now. The Sight? Was that what it was called? She'd suspected as much, but wasn't sure. The letter had come her way by her going into her once 'home' and discovering it on her bed. No one had seen anything, and more importantly, the person that she'd seen watching her had vanished. Suspicious. Not to mention that she'd dropped out of school and worked only temporary jobs. Still, a degree for absolutely free wasn't something to just pass up.

She sat forward, interested to see what exactly the dean had in store for... Ramon? Was it something cool, or terrifying? At this point, she was more pumped to work hard for this Reaper part. She'd tried a lot of different stuff, searching for that one thing that would hold her attention. Nothing worked, it was all too tame. Now she was going to test her mind, body, and soul. She was ready to sit still a little for this, ready to learn what the Dean wanted to teach them.
Yeah, I'm waiting on Hellhound as well. Besides, Gator Boy just knocked the wind out of Hikari, she'll need a moment before doing anything anyway. Sparkplug managed to reach him though, so the battle's almost done.
Nice going. You've managed to wake him, but wasn't there a better way? Yeah, but I had to, what if he's not supposed to be here? Hopefully the Dean won't be too mad. She'd been making a scene, and people were starting to stare. She sunk further into her seat. "First day, and you're already a psychopath… way to go." She muttered to herself, almost imitating the kid she'd woken with such force. Maybe the dean would ignore that, and carry on whatever he was going to do.

Instead of keep direct eye contact with anyone or look at the dean, she fiddled with her tie. She'd hoped that everyone would be more… formally dressed. No one here was, and now she just looked like a fool. She thought that schools had a uniform or something, but also wanted to put her best foot forward. Too bad she'd managed to somehow trip and stuff the whole thing into her mouth.
