According to the info it is extremely rare to have more than one classification.
I was just about to do that.

"I would love to know more. I'm certain we'll have time later." It was about to get chaotic, people leaving. Tours. Everything else. Although, it seemed that she'd met someone as willing to be talkative as she was. That was nice. "I can imagine. I don't think I really want to change anything about me, though. I mean, I'm pretty happy with the way I look." Okay, she was damned proud of her body, honestly she'd put a lot of work into it, into how she moved, how she was able to evoke emotions without a word. "I can imagine it can get addictive, always seeking perfection. I get that drive with my dancing." She couldn't imagine if someone started changing their body how that might go.

Listening to a story different than her own but no stranger it was somewhat reassuring. "And I can't control when I end up. The first time I was being robbed and jumped ten days into the future. One time I was dreaming about being late for rehearsal and, well, I ended up landing smack in the middle of the rehearsal from the day before....not exactly appropriately clothed." That was one of the reasons her father had decided to send her to the school. Still, she laughed. It had been far less embarrassing than if she'd ended up like that during a performance or somewhere else.

"It's really useful. I could get the specifications from my father if you want." She didn't see why others shouldn't have it. There seemed more to the expression than simple recognition. "Oh, yes. And coffee. Wait, give me a moment." She had her own mischievous grin. Honestly she'd stuffed all sorts of things into some of her pockets just in case. Mostly, emergency stashes. It was a combination of time and space magic that caused the switch. In a ripple she was wearing a black crop top with long sleeves and a v-neck. White shorts which had some pockets and a flowing translucent lace skirt. She rummaged in her pockets for a moment and, with a big grin, pulled out a bag of chocolate covered coffee beans and offered Linxi a few before popping some in her mouth. "Every time I put it back it resets...more candy. Well, actually the same candy which is a bit of a temporal paradox but not one that actually seems to matter in the grand scheme of things. I think when I put it back it's component pieces may or may not just go back. I really should get one of the more scientifically inclined to look into the details. Still, unlimited candy." Which was awesome as far as she was concerned. She could control space and time and used it for dancing and candy, she didn't care how people felt she should.

She looked around and sighed. It seemed this conversation was really over for the time being. "And it seems it's time for school stuff. Ah, and this talking in someone's head thing seems really useful when there's music and you need to talk to the whole troupe....nevermind." Although, she thought that maybe she could learn it. It is the type of things many psychics could do, maybe she could develop it. Or, maybe she could use her power to synthesize it but just actually talk in everyone's ear. Send the sound to multiple places at once. That would be cool. "Anyway, that later talk. Maybe we can get a drink?" She didn't know the customs here but, by 16 that was pretty much the standard type place to meet where she lived. And most of her friends were older since she was a part of the ballet and had been for a while.

And it was definitely time to go then, so she waited for everyone else to go before she'd be following.
I'm interested.

Xanara took the woman's hand. It wasn't a custom of her people, but it seemed to be common here. She preferred to meet with an embrace, the shaking was odd and it showed. "No, but it is interesting how it's so different. I mean, I could feel the shape of space change when you moved but you definitely do something different than I do. Like, it felt like you came into being where I kind of put two spaces together." She really wasn't good at explaining fully. Or explaining what she felt when Linxi had appeared, disappeared and appeared again. Or why it was so energetic and hers wasn't. "Um, and actually that happened just now and a minute ago. That's the problem. I'm pretty good about getting where I want. It's the when I want that's a problem. And I mean both when I teleport accidentally like I just did and when I arrive. At least this was only a minute or so early. Sometimes it's a day or a week, sometimes it's in the future. I kind of have this whole time space thing going and it's definitely responsive to my emotions. And that was way too much info for saying hello." Yeah, she needed to get better when she was excited but she just couldn't stop talking. Finally she did.

The comment about clothes brought her back to her normal self which was still fairly friendly and energetic. "Thanks. It's from my homeland. I...well I have a bunch of them in here." Xanara gestured to her pendant. "My father made this for me. He's a shaman but figured out a way to tap into my power so that I can access anything in my wardrobe back at home. And anything I put back in resets to the way it was when it was removed. It's very nice to have all my stuff from home. I'm from Orisa." Most people had heard or Orisian Coffee and Chocolates even if they knew nothing else. They tended to be luxury items.

The static, the noise. It was strange to her. She didn't seem to be affected by the sudden appearance of a fascinating looking woman. Well, not confused. No, it was definitely curiosity that came over her. She'd never known anyone else who could teleport, although it was so different than the way she did it. The static electricity, the pop. She could feel the ripple, the displacement, the sudden filling of it with matter. It felt a lot like her pendant, actually. And, to top it all off, it didn't seem to move her through time inadvertently. That would be very useful to learn.

Looking over to Callum, Xanara excused herself. She wanted to introduce herself to Linxi but, in her excitement she accidentally slipped across the ship, one minute prior to her leaving. It was as if she was there one moment and then just gone, a small ripple in space where, for just a moment, it looked like two places where there at once. Looking around, at least it wasn't too long, or in the future. But she did duck behind a post, waiting to catch up with herself. She needed to stay calm, upset or happy time had a way of slipping away from her. Breathe. Deep breaths.

Eventually she managed to make her way to Linxi. "Um," she was flustered from her little difficulty moving right, "hello. I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Xanara...I've never met someone else who can teleport."

I'm interested. Are the residents of Tian all human?

The reaction was not uncommon. It seemed in a world of wonders and magic, many of which she found absolutely amazing, but time seemed to be something that, she wasn't certain. Maybe it reminded them of their own existence in the tapestry of the universe. Maybe it was simply really cool. There were occasions that she wondered if the immensity of it all wouldn't come crashing down on her mind. Most of the time, though, she just kept going forward and trying to enjoy everything.

"It's just what I was born with the ability to do. I don't know if anything else is better or worse." She didn't understand people's need to compare themselves, well she did but usually only with dance not with something outside of one's control. "I can, actually. But then we'd be the ones moving in slow motion to everyone else." She closed her eyes and fast forwarded the world for a few moments before bringing the world back into a normal time frame. "I could just teleport us to the port if you'd want. Short hops I can usually do without arriving yesterday or tomorrow." She grinned as though she was joking. She very much wasn't. Sometimes she ended up in all sorts of times and places.

She shrugged. People rarely understood. Especially those who grew up in a place where conflict, where war are common narratives. Maybe she did have the luxury of having lived a life of peace and wealth and art. And people called them heathens and barbarians.

Instead, she figured she would have a bit of fun and when he took her hand she took a deep breath and the surrounding world began to slow. At first it was not all that noticeable. Like feeling a bit dizzy that things seemed off. But then the movements of people, of the rotors, of everything seemed to crawl to a near stop. She took another deep breath and pushed things a bit more until everything around them was barely moving. Although, to anyone else it would seem that the two of them were merely impossibly sped up. She could stop time completely but things tended to get a bit wonky when that happened. Sometimes she slipped in space. Sometimes she accidentally jumped in time. More than a few times it was a combination. Hopefully the school could help her learn to control all of those issues.

"This is what I do. I can control the flow of time. It's really useful when I'm dancing to create movements that appear to be physically impossible. Right now everyone else is slowed down but, to them we would seem to be moving as a blur."

Xanara had absolutely no idea who his family was. Her island hadn't been involved in the war, thankfully, A combination of remoteness and a complete lack of any strategic value. A little slice of paradise, it seemed. She wished all places could be that way.

"Why would anyone want to fight better? I don't understand violence. It is always destructive and we should all be focused on bringing something of beauty into the world..." She, so easily, slipped into the artistic philosophy that she was raised in. "Um, I get more than a little passionate about certain things." Actually, she tended to get passionate about a great many things. She tended to feel very strongly about, well, about pretty much everything.

When the conversation swung back to her she was kind of glad. She didn't want to scare anyone away, at least not yet. Xanara shook her head. "Not a shaman, but I was supposed to be. The eldest child usually is, but my younger sister developed that gift. And the training for shamanism on the island is one of the best in the world. It's woefully lacking in pretty much any other expression of power. I like to think of myself as a dancer, but the term psychic gets tossed around. I, well if you give me your hand I'll show you." She reached hers out, she may not have full control over when things happened speeding time to make the world appear to slow in relation wasn't difficult.
