Another one lept through the grass and knocked Jax over. "Yeah. The government doesnt exist anymore. There's no such thing as official." he sneered as he raised his pistol at Tim. Before he could fire, Jax kicked him in the crotch and jumped up. He heard the gun go off and felt a searing pain in his chest. He fell and blacked out.

Jax slammed the butt of his rifle into a person's nose, obviously breaking it. He shoulder his rifle and drew his machete, slashing at another man who came towards him.
Jax holstered his revolver and unslung his rifle. He looked through the scope and saw over 3 dozen shapes moving in the weeds. They were too graceful to be geeks.
Jax glanced up at Tim and then back to the brush in front of him.
Jax got out of the car and drew his .22 GP100. He flipped out the cylinder and made sure all 10 chambers were loaded. These were his last rounds for his revolver. He shook his head, spun the cylinder and flipped it back into place with a flick of his wrist. He glanced around and pulled the hammer back.
"Whatever you say kid." Jax chuckled.
"Hmm just curious. Jax glanced back at Olliver. "How you holdin up Tough Guy?"
"It'll take us almost 6 hours to get from Charlotte to the coast. Is your radio signal even that broad?" Jax asked, a little frustrated.
Jax elbowed Oliver in the nose. "Watch who you're talking to like that boy. At least until you know how to really handle yourself."
Jax laughed at the kid's seriousness. "Dont go making threats like that all the time kid. It'll get you killed one day."
