He might, but the point of the RP is to build that nation/empire a good story until the end. Besides, you can go to another nation if Japan does conquer Korea.

Well even if the CSA does end up winning it's independence it isn't the end of the world for the USA. That and the CSA isn't very industrialized. It'd be interesting as hell to see for sure. I love me some good alternate history.
Well, they only reason why they survived the civil war is because of the slaves and producing cotton. Without those key things, they wouldn't have last a week.
