Davis was still sitting on the elevator floor and waited until the building finally collapsed so he could get out of it. He then heard someone gasping and then it stopped and became quiet until he heard Amber's voice. She said, "Davis your free to come out now, the building won’t last much longer!", when he heard that he got back up and said, "Thanks, Amber.". He then walked to the ceiling, which he came in, and opened it as he began climbed on top of it. It took time for him to get on top of the elevator and to get on the lobby floor, but he did and ran to Amber. Amber had her SMG at the ready quietly scanning the room for any other hostiles in the room, she knelt down and retrieved two plasma grenades and a plasma pistol from the dead grunt and jackal she had killed. She spotted Davis coming from the elevator and running towards her. "No problem, now lets get out of here." Amber said started to make a run towards the front door.
"Yeah, I'd like to not be under a building, that can kill us" said Davis as he followed Amber, as she was heading to the front door. A pillar was going to fall on top of Amber and Davis saw that and rushed to Amber and pushed her to the outside. Davis backed away for the door as the pillar fell, causing it to break into large pieces, and he was stuck in the hotel. Either if he found a way out, he couldn't out run the building falling to the ground. Davis looked at Amber after he had pushed her and said, "Sorry for pushing you, but I had to save your life.". Amber stumbled forward as she was suddenly shoved out of the way by Davis, she rolled onto the ground aiming her assault rifle back just in time to see a support pillar had suddenly fallen nearly crushing her. Worried for her fellow comrade Amber sighed in relief when she heard Davis's voice through the radio the building was starting to shake violently as more of it started to fall to the streets below. "Get out of there Davis that's an order!" Amber yelled backing up even further from the collapsing building.
Davis heard Amber's voice once more, saying for him to get and that it was an order and he laughed. "Amber, you know that there no way out." Davis walked towards the elevator as he felt the ground below him shake. He should be running, but he knows that he can't make it out alive, and said something to Amber, "Get out of there before you get kill, they need you. You're the leader, miss. I'm just a ODST soldier.". As he was saying that to Amber, Davis grabbed another plasma pistol, that belonged to a grunt before his dead and walked to the elevator. He got to the elevator and got on top of it as he said, "I'll just hide at the elevator and live, because I know that I'll. But If I don't, tell Golovkin that I'm sorry for that joke.".
He opened the ceiling door and jumped inside as he closed it and sat down on the ground and back up to the wall. "Good luck, Amber. I'll tell Watts and the others, that you and the others are doing well. That's if I don't make it.". He placed down his shotgun and the plasma pistol next to him and placed the light machine gun on top of his legs and whistled.
