Bio

Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm a man of wealth and taste discerning in his choice of ramen. I'm a Canadian student currently living in Germany to do my Masters. I enjoy sports, martial arts, reading, writing, videogames and draw inspiration from all of these for my roleplays.

As for RPs, I like many different topics but only ever join one or two at a time. Any more than that, and I run out of time to write, so my quality really starts to slip. The upside of this is that I almost never drop an RP unless everyone else deserts it. If you see me apply to yours, it probably means I'm in for the long haul.

How about Slyph? Any word on him/her?
Hows it going over there, Slyph? Still busy?
And now we make big boom. Im actually really happy to hear that everyone else has plans for their characters. If everyone is invested, maybe this wont die after all! Huzzah!
Lilly's brief relief from the horror and terror of war was suddenly cut short when she was shaken awake and pulled to her feet by Brenna. Her legs still jittering from her start, she needed to be held up by her for a moment before she managed to regain her footing. "T-thank you..." Her antisocial companion only replied by nodding her head towards the back door and heading out of the house, leaving Lilly to creep through the alleys behind her. It took a while from all the sneaking and hiding, but eventually they made it to the edge of the imperial staging base. Brenna came to a stop at the edge of the alley, forcibly stopped Lilly by pushing at her, before stating that they were close. Lilly nodded and crouched, laying her rifle on the ground and peering around the corner. It quickly became apparent that 'staging base' was far too generous of a term for the encampment they had stumbled upon. There were two tanks being refueled from their externally carried canisters, but aside from that, there were only a few munitions crates and barrels lying around. It certainly looked like this 'base' was only temporary, set up quickly as a safe area to refuel the tanks and resupply critical ammunition, but not much else. Fortunately that meant that aside from a dozen or so engineers milling about, there were very few proper soldiers in the base. Reporting this to Brenna, Lilly picked up her rifle and, in a shaky voice, said "I-I couldn't see the o-officer. I need t-to get closer." Not waiting for a reply, she crept as quickly as she dared to from the alley to a burnt out civilian car parked along the main road. Thankfully, no one seemed to notice her, and her new position gave her much better view. Timidly poking her head around the side of the car, she searched again for the commander. This time she was not disappointed. Walking out of a house, came a tall and imposing man dressed in rusty red armor. He was flanked by two soldiers armed with rifles, and he quickly walked over to one of the barrels, unfurled a map onto it, and started to point out positions, locations, etc. on it as he briefed the two scouts he was no doubt about to dispatch. Lilly dropped to the ground behind the car when one of the tanks being refueled started up and drove down the street past her, heading towards the front line. After the coast was clear again, she looked back up at the officer and noticed something she hadn't before. On the barrel that the three were crowding around was written a warning symbol and the name of it's contents: Ragnoline. Despite her terrified state, even Lilly understood what an opportunity this was. She hurriedly scrambled back to Brenna and reported this to her. Ragnoline was highly explosive.
Well it is fine by me! The more the merrier! As for me, I've been trying to portray how a 19-20-ish girl who rarely had to even make her own bed before might react to being thrown into combat. Sooo... Sorry for her being useless, but realistically I dont think she would be doing too well in her first battle. (She'll get better in the next one, so you need not worry about having someone running around like a chicken with their head cut off for much longer) On the topic of 'remorse unlike most people in videogames' ...
Name: Lilly Jatmoore Gender: Female Age: 20 (Don't you know never to ask a woman's age~?) Appearance: Rank: Private Class: Scout Weapons and Equipment: Gallian S-1, Ragnaid, Standard Scout Equipment. One B-Type M1 Grenade Personality: Kind, Friendly and Elegant, but painfully naive. While she may appear wise and insightful when discussing the topics she was educated on, her knowledge of the world in general is painfully lacking. Due to her pristine upbringing, she is also a massive neat freak and is unused to the sight of blood. She also has a strong sense of duty, and often bases her decisions on what she thinks she ought to do, rather than what she truly wants. Bio: Born into a wealthy family, Lilly is probably about as close to an aristocrat as you could get without actually being an aristocrat. Her father owned a string of arms factories, factories which had brought him immense wealth during EWI, as the constant demand for rifles meant he was never lacking for business. As such, Lilly never wanted for anything material during her childhood, with her father paying a significant amount of money on tutors, private sports coaches, etc, and her room was never lacking in books or toys to busy herself with. She was highly educated in economics and philosophy, as well as the art of running a business, and her sports coaches ensured that she was never out of shape by challenging her with tennis, running, swimming, and even archery. The unfortunate part of her strict upbringing, though, was that she rarely got a chance to get away from her family's estate. It was quite safe to say that she had no friends of her own age during her upbringing, and that the only people she really got close to were simply the servants of the house (her father maintained a rather distant relationship). When she turned 15, her father decided that it was time to teach her how to handle a rifle, particularly the ones they produced. The thought process went along the lines of "If you run a manufacturing business, it is your duty to at least know how to use your own products." Though the grease and filth that had to be dealt with when cleaning a rifle bothered her, Lilly actually found the workings of the rifle to be incredibly interesting, and developed an intense interest in the sport of marksmanship. Her father was pleased with this, and once she was older, began to take her hunting on occasion (though always within the safety of their enclosed estate). As her skill in hunting increased, she found the prospect of being groomed as the heir of her father's business to be increasingly distasteful. While she was out in the woods, she felt at ease, free of the stifling atmosphere of the mansion. She longed for adventure and to escape the stiff, formal structure of her day to day life, little did she know that day was soon to come... RP Sample: Lilly calmly sipped her tea and signed her name on the recruitment forms with an old fountain pen. Across the table, her butler and friend Hanz was frantically trying to talk her out of her decision, pacing back and fourth. "Lady Jatmoore, I beg of you, will you not reconsider? Your father will be furious when he finds out!" Lilly finished dotting an i before setting her pen down and shaking her head. "No, Hanz, my decision is final. I will be joining the militia, and I pray that you will not further your attempts to sway me." She took another sip of her tea, before going back to writing. In an uncharacteristic outburst, the smartly dressed man slammed his hand down on the table, clearly distressed by her stubbornness. "But m'lady, what could you possibly want with war?! You are the daughter of a wealthy merchant, and your father expects you to take over his business for him. What would we do if you were to d-die!?" Lilly paused her writing for a second time to wipe up some of the tea that had splashed out of the cup when the table was struck. She remained silent for a moment, before staring Hanz straight in the eye. "It is not about what I want, Hanz. War is a horrific evil brought about by power hungry men who see violence as the only means to get their way. I wish to have no part in it." "Then why-" "Why?" Lilly stood up and walked over to one of the windows of her study, before addressing the confused expression of her servant. "... Why indeed. Look, Hanz. From here you can see the countryside, the town of Eindon, the farmers toiling in there fields. Each one of them has a life they built for themselves, a home, a profession." She spun around to face him, a determined look in her eye. "A war will destroy their ways of life. The town could be razed, their fields trampled, their very lives could be taken by a stray bullet. In times like this, it is the duty of every citizen to defend their land in what ever way possible." Her expression softened when she saw the look of sadness on her friend's face, and she continued in a more gentle tone. "... You are my friend and my mentor, Hanz, and I do appreciate your concern for me, but it is every citizen's duty to defend their country, and I am no exception. Please, my mind is made up. I pray you do not try to press me further." As she went back to filling out the papers, Hanz sighed and bowed. "Very well, m'lady. I will not impede your decision." Leaving Lilly to continue writing in peace, he walked down the hallway, his heart heavy. Lilly was always like this, driven by a sense of duty and altruism, but she lacked wisdom in the way of the world. He hoped that she would do well in her endeavor, but could not help but feel like he had failed. She had been sheltered her whole life. How long would a girl like her last on the front lines? Maybe he should tell Master Jatmoore as a final effort to keep her safe. Other: Catherine O'hara is best girl!
Just dont forget about me! I'm still waiting on slyph
Speaking of posting, You still there, Slyph?
*Crack* *Crack* The retorts of the rifles sounded sharply, as Lilly covered her head and scrambled across the street after her infinity more collected comrade. *Crack* *Ping* A sharp metallic ring sounded just as Lilly was about to reach the safety of the alley, and she staggered sideways as she felt SOMETHING hit her. What was that?! Was she hit? She she was dripping blood. Was she dying?! AAAHHH!! Brenna had stopped just at the entrance, and nearly got knocked over by a thoroughly terrified Lilly, who did not stop running upon reaching the alley. She kept on sprinting right past Brenna, down the alley, and crashed through the unlocked door of the house at the end of it. "KYAAAAAAAAA!!!!" Upon entering, she tripped and fell over a small chair that had apparently been propped up in a feeble attempt to deny entrance. Her scream and crash startled her just as much as it did the imperial sniper who had apparently been set up to shoot out of a window at the top of the stairs. Lilly just barely had the presence of mind to aim, before pulling the trigger as the man swung his rifle towards her. *CrackCrackCrack* When Brenna found her way into the house, she found Lilly in hysterics, a pool of blood at the bottom of the stairs, and the corpse of a dead sniper with a bullet through his head (the rest landed in the wall) at the top of the stairs. "Where is it?! WhereIsItWhereIsItWhereIsItWhereIsItWhereIsItWhereIsItWhereIsItWhereIsItWhereIsIt?!" Lilly was scrambling over her arm, shoulder and side, trying to find the wound where the sniper had shot her. Her searches became increasingly frantic, until she knocked something out of her shoulder plate - a bullet had been lodged in the thickest part of the metal, leaving a nice dent, a large bruise, and Lilly completely free of bullet holes. The blood covering her had been from the still damp munitions pouch looted from the dead Gallian soldier. "OH THANK THE VALKYRUR!!" *Thud* With that, Lilly fell to her knees and slumped against the wall, overwhelmed by a combination of fright, exhaustion, and the come down from the sheer amount of adrenalin she had been functioning on. Fortunately there didn't seem to be any more soldiers on the second floor, and upon looking out the window, one would be able to see that the staging area for the imperials and their officers was actually just a couple blocks down the road in an (previously) empty lot. Once Lilly got ahold of herself, it seemed like their mission objective would only be a stones throw away.
Sorry, was busy tonight. I'll try to get a post up tomorrow or sunday. ***** AAAAaaand we are post.
