Biography/Background: Rif grew up knowing only one thing... humans weren't to be trusted. After his family had barely managed to escape human slavery, the dwarves grew up with a strong hatred of both humans and underground spaces. Well, hard to blame them when the humans had used them to dig their mines. So, the dwarves swore they'd never go underground again, and they swore they'd never be helpless. After that, they started raising the most promising males as warriors. That's where Rif came in. From a young age, the dwarves could see that he was a strong-willed individual, though taciturn. He was selected to be raised as a warrior, and now takes jobs as more of a mercenary for hire.
