Holy cow I'm away for two days and this thing is booming.

I haven't voted on the poll yet because I'm not 100% sure I'll have time for this, but if I find that I do I was thinking that, considering these people are former psych-patients and many of them are still very "disturbed" that it would be a good idea for one of the scientists to be a psychologist or at least have a degree in psychology as well as one of the other sciences (probably neuroscience), and their job would be to keep up-to-date on the experiments' mental health/provide counseling or therapy/be a constant. Basically someone who get's up close and personal with the patients, and thinking in terms of plot this could later create a moral conflict.

Just a suggestion I want to know what the rest of you think.
I s'pose I could try my hand at the detective unless someone else is just dying to play that role.

EDIT: did you have any specific parameters for the detective other than what's mentioned in the first post?

Great, I went home for the weekend so I got to enjoy some R&R and home-cooked food.

Though our wi-fi was down for like two days (happens when you live in the middle of nowhere) so I couldn't really get online much except with my phone (service is also bad when you live in the wilderness), but I'm back now. Also it's about 5AM cuz I got a ride back with my dad on his way to work, and my dorm room is locked so I have to wait for my roommate to wake up before I can get in xD Luckily we have class today so that should be around 7 or so. 7 is when I'm gonna knock anyway.

I watched Gravity for the first time with my best friend (we got it from Redbox because no wi-fi means no Netflix) and it was really cool, I liked it.

I also doodled Aergar all over my syllabus last week, he's turned into a really fun character to draw, kinda cartoony, but fun.

Oh yeah, and I brought back food. My mom always sends food back with me when I come home to visit ^.^
So to summarize everything you've said (just so I know what I'm talking about):

Some of us are scientists, some of us are subjects.

Subjects are being experimented on for [unknown purpose] and gain special abilities (I suppose they could be disabilities as well).

Abilities/disabilities can be just about anything as long as we can make it sound legit.

Subjects' behavior is being studied in a "normal" environment.

Kinda vague, I want to know exactly the purpose of the scientists doing the testing, what are they trying to achieve? Cancer cure? Superior human race? Forced evolution?
Perhaps they are using the subjects for different purposes. I'm assuming that most of the POV will be from the subjects, so we don't necessarily have to know the motivations of the scientists, but part of the story would be trying to find that out I assume. I also assume that the test subjects will have no context of life outside of the "lab" or whatever it is they're being held in, either they've forgotten it or were artificially grown.

It's an intriguing concept, I did a similar RP a few years back about escaped laboratory experiments. It might be fun to try again.

In a galaxy somewhere is a TARDIS that looks just like that.

Did you mean a parallel universe

I love how it's already been pretty clearly established that she's not the best artist but no one tried to criticize her until she drew a TARDIS. Like, her Daleks didn't look quite right either but no one said anything because her scribbles were too adorable. Also I should note - I'm pretty sure that's one of the first little drawings like that that she made for me. She gave that to me in class sometime during the first week or two of school, after she'd watched like one or two episodes of the Third Doctor and fell in love.

Well when she drew you your eyes were on your face and stuff, but the fact that the TARDIS says "Police Box" awkwardly on the side concerns me, it's as if she drew your with eyes on your elbows or something.

They'll forgive you so long as you're not the kind of person to steal other people's writing utensils.
That's an anatomically incorrect TARDIS…
